Qriocity = on-demand streaming videos (rental only)
That's my understanding anyway.

I'm guessing the new service is more for having a less generic term for the video store, especially for non-Playstation products. Having it optimized for streaming and devices without HDDs is nice too, I guess.
And if they're still going pay-per-use instead of a flat rate, they can forget it.

Couldnt the same be said about bringing in Netflix? I see your point, we know will have 3 versions of video service. So I'm hoping this service will be really good, I dont use the PSN video store, just Netflix but the selection isnt for me.-Winnie- said:You can still pretty much stream using the PSN video store, can't you? Don't see the point in making a separate service just for this.

Argh! Looks like I'll have to ask them then. I wonder, I do mutually share with my cousin, but his old PS3 broke down last year. He was able to revive it and told me he deactivated my account, but maybe he left the actual profile intact along with the password, and whoever bought the old PS3 from him cheap just reactivated it? ArghhhSnuggler said:It should be accurate. I had more than I thought on there, but as soon as I had a couple people deactivate they went away on the Qrirocitiy website.
Sounds like your friends are getting up in your shit.

The family of Qriocity services is not available in your country.
http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/09/01/music-unlimited-powered-by-qriocity-coming-to-ps3/Today at IFA 2010 in Berlin, Sony announced that Music Unlimited Powered by Qriocity, a cloud-based digital music service, will be coming to PlayStation 3 later this year.
The service will give you access to millions of songs that are stored and synchronised through the cloud and can be accessed via PS3, BRAVIA TVs, Blu-ray Disc players, Blu-ray Home Theatre systems and VAIO computers, with one single account and without the need to manage digital files.
Further details, including exactly when and in which countries Music Unlimited Powered by Qriocity will launch, will be announced soon.
