I'm really enjoying taking screens while playing. It is for the most part beautiful; the effect when collecting an item and some of the lamps I dislike though.

just to clear this up real quick... that was kinda the point.

i merely stated my concerns with this thread turning into a photoshop showcase, which you all quickly shot down as not really being an important deal...

i accepted that, and now welcome glorious, (not wholly representative shots) of any and all games that offer such tools.


...and for the record, i don't believe this is all about console warrioring, at least for me. I still believe that those modes where they present what appears to be actual gameplay, but then alter models and AF/AA is sucky for this thread... on BOTH sides of the "war". I have no issue with the auto vista mode shots,those i consider like cutscenes almost. Its the in race ..asset chaging.. post processing stuff that goes on in the photo modes and replays of these racing games that i think are in bad taste.

but like i said if you all are fine with it, bring on the "photo" fest.

PS: Could someone post some in-race, gameplay Forza captures? chase view, first person, etc. i would love to see how the game looks legit if people are insisting that it looks just like replays.

Pretty damn awesome for Sucker Punch to add this, looks like these tools are pretty similar to what was used in the pre-release shots they did.

im not a fan of Infamous' look. it doesnt look pretty to me in stills. need to see it in motion probably. those more aerial shots can look rough in spots.

If a small team at Sucker Punch can release a fully fleshed out Photo Mode feature for a game as a post launch support(and major props to Sucker Punch by the way, they deserve every bit of praise), i hope other AAA third party developers make note of it

I love this photomode. Really good controls and most of all hassle free - no digging into menus and such, and no need to seperately render 'a photo'. Shame that the pictures come through as lossy as they do with SHARE.
