If only Valve wasnt fuck lazy and actually made sequels to their most beloved series
No doubt the cards and copper system were originally used as a way milk money off people.
Left 4 dead is SO much better, b4b is a shitty imitation
To this day I still play l4d and l4d2 split screen on xbox 360. The first one has a better balance and I like it more but #2 has the melee weapons which feel great to use.This.
L4D still top any others clone around. Such an amazing game. Wish they did remaster last gen because playing CO-OP on Xbox 360 even Xbox 360 being a weak machine was so fucking fun.
I'm confused about the video title. Turtle Rock Studios laid the foundation in the first game and Valve built upon it in the second. How did Valve "carry" the franchise exactly?
I'm still confused by your post though man. Turtle Rock Studios made Left 4 Dead before Valve bought them. As for Back 4 Blood, it's understandably dogshit but was anybody surprised?Valve made good zombie games, Turtle Rock didn't. Turtle Rock made it seem like they were the creators of the good games, when most of the L4D team is still at Valve.

I’d love it MS did a game boost update to make it 60fps on series condoles.
B4B isn’t the worst game. But it has the absolutely fatal flaw of being a co-op shooter that requires thinking. I don’t want to fuck around with nerdy card shit when I’m 4+ beers deep on discord with my bro’s. I want to be shooting zombies and giggling like a fool at all of the retarded mods that I have installed like Homer Simpson Chainsaw, Whichney Houston, Surprise Motherfucker pipebombs, etc etc. L4D2 is the most perfect beer and bro game ever made.
What headset if you dont mind me asking ? Been looking to buy one for my series x as well so want to gather some experience.I recently finally got a headset for my Series X and have been wanting to jump into B4B. Tried to find a lobby for newbies and no luck. Seems like I missed the boat on this one. I realize it's not up to original L4D standards but it would be nice to jump into the game with like minded people. Too late?
Yes and also we went from 4 player split on goldeneye 64 to 0 splitscreen on a lot of games xDCan you belive L4D/L4D2 runs splitscreen on Xbox 360 with 10 MB eDRAM, and B4B not only can't be played splitscreen on next gen consoles, but require constant internet connection?

Recently bought B4B on sale and I've been having a blast playing solo, cleared both Recruit and Vet difficulties. Throughout though I kept feeling like something was missing, simple stuff like dismemberment which is in literally every zombie game I've ever played as just one example. I've never played L4D, just finished watching this vid and wow, give me a remaster collection of these games *now*.
Thanks, I don't do PC gaming, hardcore console gamer since the Atari 2600. And before you mention Xbox zero interest in that ecosystem, appreciate it anywayhere's the remastered collection for $3. you can play all the l4d content in l4d2.

wayyy more players than b4b too.
I only played theBack 4 Blood is a mess and I just don't think Turtle Rock understands what made L4D so great. The simplicity made it enjoyable and it all of the unnecessary junk (loot, rogue lite card system, etc.) just detracts from the experience. The infected designs are also a massive step down from the L4D analogs. To a much lesser extent, I felt the same way about L4D2 with respect to the new equipment and special zombie types. L4D will never be topped and more specifically, the No Mercy campaign will never be topped. It had something that a lot of the other campaigns failed to deliver, which was fair level lengths for both the zombie and survivors.
I had been searching for a while to find one perfect for my needs and ended up buying the SteelSeries Arctis 9X wireless headset. The thing is not cheap. Retails for $200. Traded in my PS4 so I paid nothing. Comfortable and great sound. Also doesn't look "gamery" so that's nice. It connects via the same wireless protocol as Xbox controllers. Has Bluetooth as well so you can answer phone calls while gaming. Retractable mic is nice touch too. Look into it.What headset if you dont mind me asking ? I just farted lolOP why did you turn Crowbcat into Crowbat lol
Yup, and they're backwards compatible on Xbox One and Series X|S too. Playerbase is is gone though. Are L4D 1&2 still playable online on Xbox Live?
Crowbcat doesn't miss. Back 4 Blood is like the worst parts of the modern day gaming and the worst parts from the 360/PS3 era combined into one game. It's kinda amazing in that regard.
evolve as a game is good
ok tell that to me just finishing a game of it on pc. me 1 you 0
