For the technical part, it would be a major benefit to just drop the current generation but financially speaking it would be bad. In any case, Cyberpunk 2077 will be a game to do on pc . I just can't imagine waiting sooooo long to play this on ps4/one, it's a crime !

I could be wrong here but Cyberpunk 2077 from beginning was being developed with current gen in mind so even if they drop the PS4/X1 version, the game still was build around current gen unless they restart the development.
