People do that in the gameplay threads anyway. Shit, Project Soul drastically reduced the tit meat quotient in SCV and people still harp on about it. The only way to avoid it is to have gorilla faced women (MK), women with manhands and linebacker shoulders (Tekken), or both (SF).

meh, when i randomly clicked through videos, i could barely tell what is tekken and what is doa, they really lost that unique visual appeal.
You probably don't care much about either game if you can't tell the difference. They're very distinct. They don't look at all alike.

Yeah, I'm really starting to come around to the idea of this being a legit game. I've got my quibbles and I certainly think some things should be handled differently but I don't think it will stop this game from being solid.

Well now lets just slap a tail on eliot and be done here.
I was a huge fan of DOA3; I'm sure I clocked over 1000 hours into that game. So many all-nighters playing with friends. I also had a great time with DOAU online. That was years ago though, and I was disappointed in DOA4.
I've tried to resist getting hyped about DOA5, particularly with the new Team Ninja behind it. These screens are making it impossible to resist, though. The character models are just plain stunning; however much Tecmo is paying the Team Ninja artists, it isn't enough.

woop guys, you can maintain a more unique look without taking away all of the visual attributes of the series.
I still think doa 5 looks fantastic, but while I like the new character designs, I dislike the new color palette and stage designs

I just watched one of DrDogg's Rig matches, and it wasn't even fair. Three straight 3-0 wins.
I'm bracing myself for the disappointment of this selling drastically less than TTT 2 and P4A.
I hope it's easy to get an online match for a good few months though. DOA4 stuck around for ages, but Dimensions was dead-on-arrival.

Not to kick DoA while it's down or anything, but I was playing it not too long ago and forgot that it's actually the first game I think I've seen that has vertical screen tearing. "60"fps mode is a joke, really. I'm still bitter they changed all the single-player content the way they did, too, but it's portable DoA so I can't really complain that much.
I'm still really excited for DoA5, though; I just hope I'll be able to tear myself away from TTT2 when the time comes. Those streams were lovely, thanks.

Yup. They need some sort of special property where they can be hit by highs but still low thrown. I'm fine with counters from stun, but they should make the active window smaller and the recovery window bigger in that situation.
