So, which sexy outfits are unlocked by default?
I can only go by the video, which would suggest each character starts with a single outfit and one color variation of said outfit. As example, Kasumi starts with her main outfit, the black bodysuit, and its red color variant; the blue & white variant appears to cost 100 points to unlock.
So half the female cast still has some pretty darn revealing outfits, and the rest will likely get their own versions and more with DLC. I'm not seeing much to worry longtime fans of the series, and I'd guess the appeal to western prudes is just a useful tactic.
Like Call of Duty, they know where their money comes from. They'll get their review scores, and then it's only a matter of time before loot boxes more revealing outfits are introduced into the game with an update.
As it stands, DoA6 is basically vanilla DoA5, but now Koei Tecmo gets to control the game’s jiggle, primarily through DLC offerings. Ultimately, consumers will decide whether the marketing, content changes, and what appears to be a similar DLC focus is acceptable.
My take is the game looks cheap & content light, I disagree with the jiggle being attached to the clothes, and I think they’re gouging consumer on all versions of the game, even more so knowing there’s a season pass right from the gate. I might have considered a purchase, if the Digital Deluxe content was offered at $60; as it stands, I almost certainly will not own the game on the current hardware generation.

Also, after watching some DoA6 streams, unlocking costumes may potentially be a hassle.
Completing the challenges in Quest Mode earns you coins/points and "costume pattern parts." The coins/points look like they're used to unlock accessories (such as glasses) and hair styles. The costume pattern parts are for unlocking costumes. The issue, however, is completing Quest Mode challenges earn you a certain amount of points (I'm assuming difficulty determines the payout) for a random character's costume. For instance, you complete a challenge with Kasumi, but earn 200 costume points for Eliot's Costume #4.
Hopefully there's a way to game the system, like redoing challenges to farm for easy points, because otherwise it completely sucks if the player has no agency in unlocking the costumes they want.
