When you arrive at the TF29 station for the first time, I know you're supposed
to plant a whisper chip in the NSN server motherboard but I can't get in the room since Miller is inside. What am I supposed to do?

Find an alternate path, or hack the door to the adjacent room or use a multi tool on it.
The room you have to be in is not the same room Miller is in.

are there any side missions in golem city or is it just that one mission
(first time i'm there if that matters)

Has anyone found a work-around for the tutorial prompts that won't disappear?

I originally would just reload and they would disappear, but that's not the case anymore.

I did the gun range and the message talking about swapping pistol ammo is stuck on my screen, no matter what I do.

On PC if that matters.

Exactly this.

I had this happen with the Aug prompt "press Y to see which augs can be disabled" after talking to the Aug guy (Forget his name atm). I just talked to him again about augs and it went away. So maybe try talking to someone.

Fantastic. McCann along with Sascha Dikiciyan, and Ed Harrison have done a great job so far with the score and I'm only in Prague. lol

Lots of ambient sounds too from the night club, which causes the controller to vibrate, and radios means it's not all background score. Great stuff.
Yeah, his addition what surprises me the most. Dude finally made it to the big leagues, just wondering what took him so long.

I only found
main story mission and one kinda side-ish quest, but it's treated as POI by the game. It's given to you by that crime boss type a guy from underground casino.

I've installed official DeusEx phone app and it tracks kills and alarms in the Stats section. But it seems alarms are counted there even if you reload your save.
So still no reliable way to check progress during no kills\no alarms run...

There's two different rooms, Millers is adjacent -- get into the one on the left specifically.

Man the loading time when traveling on the train is pretty insane. Wish I had room to install on SSD.

Takes longer to load gta5 and Witcher 3.

Chip location and where Miller is are two different spaces. One access could be vent nearby...

Yeah I've been in that room but I'm not seeing a prompt for the chip. I must be blind.

Man this game REALLY needs a "foreign language only" subtitle option. I want them off for most things, but I don't speak Czech here....

Yeah honestly, I kinda feel that way too. In some way I feel that this game (and HR before it) need like ONE more system in place to kinda fuck with the vent crawling - something like lock picks in the first game. Without any actual risk or consumable items used, it totally does feel like cheating a lot of the time.

Still though, not EVERY place has a convenient vent, I just wouldn't mind seeing something kinda throw a wrench in the vent formula.

Games with a mix of languages but only an ON and OFF subtitles option is a pet peeve of mine, yeah.

And obviously the game did most things wrong but Invisible War at least added some hazards to vent shafts with spiderbots and the like. Would've liked to see something similar here.

Missed opportunity to pull that foreign language aug that Cyberpunk 2077 devs talked about, just think of the potential!

Oh man, I can already see all that complaining about how CP2077 doesn't give subs for foreign languages if they go through with that aug idea. I hope they do.

I really like the game so far. One thing that bugs me is that the cloak runs out way too fast, I hope we will get upgrades to that later on in the game.

Just to put this out there; I like design of police armor from patrol cops to exos. How helmets look and operate with opening visors etc.

Edit:
What are the most essential augs to start off with or is it entirely based on play style?

Never can go wrong with some hacking and rebreather. Opens up some path etc. options even for lethal style.

Jumping, Heavy Lifting, Hacking and perhaps rebreather (although game does not have that many toxic areas as it does at start)...cloak is useful for stealth but it doesn't get really useful until you buy all upgrades for cloak and battery and use it along with silent footsteps.

Being able to change Jensen's trenchcoat to the HR one gets really dumb when the game flashes back and forth between in-game and prerendered scenes with the default outfit.

I think stuff like jumping, cloaking and such are just "vanity" augs that you get after building your core style. They are cool, but also so situational that without good core aug build for your playstyle they can't stand by themselves. Like hour 20 and I got first active aug outside of that smart vision thing.

Yeah, that somewhat undermines value from being able to swap jackets and combat armor. Why even do pre-rendered scenes these days? Especially when they tend to create disconnect between in-game and in-cutscene IQ.

I'm enjoying this post prologue but holy shit a couple things are so bad, like more so than HR from what I remember.

Lip syncing and animation is horrible.

The cuts to take down animations are so annoying to the point I'm not even going to do them. I guess breaking perspective for the cover system works ok, but who the fuck finds it ok to do it for other things?

I think I avoided using takedowns in HR by having a silencer for my 10mm, guess I should focus on finding that.

Jumping is quite essential though, you don't always have access to crates to stack up and I honestly cannot think of a single aug more important than jumping along with heavy lifting.

The thing about hacking is that even if you don't want to take an alternate path or use a multitool is that most doors can be simply destroyed using your silenced pistol.

Possibly because their rigs are not advanced enough for animation in real time.

Yeah still find it weird that occasionally you can see your hands in those scripted first person moments (prague station 'cutscene', getting out of bed at home), but during gameplay, nothing.

How important is money in this game? I wasted hours yesterday knocking out dudes in the very first zone and running back to the neighbor to sell it lol.

Good to know!

Yeah I tried that, it's still there in conversations with people too - Ridiculous.

Fuck, that would have been good to know before I spent a lot of points maxing out hacking and stealth.

Anything with that "broken glass" looking icon next to its name is breakable. Anything with a red lock is unbreakable.

Good to know, thanks, I just thought you could only blow up the doors with explosives, didn't know a pistol would do.

Will enabling cloth physics stop Jenson's head clipping into his insanely popped trench coat collar?

I have them enabled and I've never seen it so, yeah I guess so.

Gosh this game is so immersive. Even more so than HR because while it loses the distinct visual flair, the amount of detail is great. Breaking into a beautiful apartment that is trashed with ivy on the wall and hearing the alarm system lady warning you to jet it or she's gonna send the cops. Really good stuff.

I'm surprised you guys didn't notice the green bar underneath the door sign whenever you look at a breakable door. Most doors in this game are that way.
