Why does this week have to be one of my busiest weeks lol.

As much as I'd like to ignore work, friends, family, and beautiful women to play Diablo instead, I will do my best to be an upstanding member of hamster society. I'll still pop in as much as I can though. I think I can get in the bulk of my play on launch night and part of the day after.

Yeah that's what I read this am. Also just like the last expansion there isn't a seasonal theme as far as I am aware it's the expansion content and no specific seasonal mechanic.

it has an auto limit set to 1mb/s for a pre-release content. Just finished VoH, wasn't too bad. Looking forward to LoH.

I had to force my PlayStation 5 3 updates for the game, and it still has one more left that it cannot apparently do until the game actually launches. I'm hoping this isn't the actual update with all the gigabytes of data, but I have a sinking feeling it is.

Which means you wouldn't be able to actually preload on PlayStation.

Last time i played this game was years ago. I just redownloaded it and played a bit. I might buy this and play the previous expansion too. It runs flawlessly on my new PC and feels great to play. I see a lot of changes already, kinda overwhelming

Just play through the story expansions and enjoy the ride.

If end game interests you when you get there dive into questions here and YT videos.

Diablo is never overwhelming as you play. It'll all falls into place bit by bit.

Should be able to I believe. Unsure what the onboarding looks like for someone wanting to play warlock today after it's out without playing previous expansion.

You know you have a good voice when I choose all the dialog options just to hear it. Lorath's voice actor is goated.

Idk why I have an aversion to Necromancer and now Warlock but I went back to Paladin already. Fits the aesthetic of Skovos better and also I love the whole good versus evil theme. Paladin vs. Mephisto seems more correct. My Warlock looked like he was way more likely to join him. I don't have to redo too much at least.

i got disconnected twice in the first 30 minutes but haven't had an issue since. hope things go well for you going forward.

also i saw some people saying there was a queue? hmm never even saw one even with my couple disconnects. actually a very smooth launch for me lol.

The charms are OP, only level 7 and got one that gives +2 to core skills. It's funny the difference in power between the last two that dropped. Either +1 to max resource or +2 to skills. ha

I'm kinda bummed I never got the Berserk collab skins they did a while back. That was like $20+ for one character skin. Now the game gets better, but the collab ended. Whoever ran the show the first go around must have wanted skins to pay the server fees. I think I'll grab it sometime next month.

This would be better if Paladin had an active block and no cool down on the dash ability PoE 2 style. A soft lock on as well so we can strafe block. Do it Blizzard.

Overall digging most of the changes. Removing the passives from the skill tree has been interesting...but you can replace most of them with the charm system. I like the fishing so far, mindless but fun.

Opening cinematic goes hard...great execution for sure.
The new area is a depature from the run down/ruined setting of most of the game so far so that has been great to see. Areas look fantastic so far and, as a D3 mark, I love to see some of the returning enemies.

The fisherman sounds familiar...

Such a massive improvement over the last expansion in every way. All the changes so far for leveling are fantastic. Got a green set item first time ever to drop and immediately sat up. Nice!

Only if you forgot what the story is and want to replay it. If you go straight to the Lord of Hatred campaign, it'll give you a recap cinematic.

I fucked up yesterday and created my character right away once it downloaded. Forced me into an eternal warlock due to the season starting 30 minutes later and I put like 3 hours into it before I realized I couldn't play with my friends on the new story. Deleted them and started over. Idiot blizzard.

Only was able to make it to level 15. Busy the next 3 days with work and after school stuff for my kids. I just want to play but it'll probably be Friday before I can pick it up again. Strong start to the campaign though and the skill trees are interesting.
