I take it you've not seen LocoCycle then?

Or Crimson Dragon?
Last i checked CD and Loco Cycle were XBLA games. One of which is cross gen and coming out on the 360 as well.

Is this what I think it is? The game actually drops to 10fps at this point? Fucking HELL.
Nice GIF, gave me an idea:

Awesome Banderis Slowdown Gif...
Has anyone confirmed that this is/isn't the final, retail game?
I've added my own little touch to the end...

Dead Rising 3 is another game I think looks pretty damn awesome, too. It's only issue is the framerate, but it's got a lot going on I think it's a very good looking game. Great lighting, solid textures, very packed and busy environments, lots of zombies on screen, open world, no loading times etc. But of course all of this becomes far less impressive if they can't fix the framerate.

I hope the stuff about the clock speed update on the CPU and the focus they seem to be placing on stable frame-rates hold true, because literally nothing would be more annoying than iffy framerate in games.
Today:
For the action and sheer number of enemies I saw on screen, the framerate is more than acceptable.
I can understand putting this all on Microsoft, but shouldn't this be on Capcom Vancouver just as much, if not more?
What is that from? I've never seen it before.

I'mma pray for this game. Seems to enjoy 20fps more than 30fps, and it occasionally drops to 10fps.
Nope. That's what sucks about the whole article and thread so far.
No. It's not the frame rate counter shown in the top right, but the Polygon score.

Resogun is a PSN game. That doesn't prevent it from being a clear next gen game.
Does the game really dip into the 20 FPS territory? Say it ain't so....
This delights me to no end.
Absolutely awesome.
To be fair, this game looked like a mess from the beginning. Console launch + that studio = yah go figure. Still, looks like an incredibly good looking 360 game.
10 FPS according to DF.
Meanwhile, in the Netherlands...

It was also built from the ground up for the PS4 as opposed to being a re purposed PS3 game.
OXM said:Jones has clarified his earlier comments in a statement to OXM - apparently, Dead Rising 3 was never formally prototyped on Xbox 360. "The goals we set ourselves for Dead Rising 3 were just not possible on the current systems. We knew it would have to be a next-gen game and Microsoft was supportive of the idea."
Really????
While abadguy is just moving the goal posts to downplay the shonky 'next-gen' games, he was referring to Crimson Dragon and LocoCycle, which both started off as 360 games. And by the looks of them ended up as them too.
It had to either be the review copy on a debug unit or captures from the media blitz from last week. Either way, it's weird to have these issues which are contrary to what they've been telling us just a couple of weeks from launch. They said they had it stabilized, so what's the issue now?
Even if there is a stabilizing patch released Day One, or just before, it's pretty damning that Microsoft and, in this case, Capcom Vancouver couldn't get their act together on possibly their[Microsoft's] most advertised flagship title.

If this was a one-off, then sure. But we haven't seen a single Xbone game that isn't affected by technical shortcomings.
While under powered, the on-paper performance of the Xbone should be producing better results than this. So the dev tools / drivers must be a major issue at present. You can't just claim 'lazy devs' when the tools they have at their disposal are fucked.
If there is a stabilizing patch then they did get their act together, unless you're talking about the resolution too. Even Call of Duty and Knack on PS4 are getting a day one patches. This gen requires gamers to be connected. At least that's what I'm taking from it all.

I dont know but the trust in dev is completely gone when they said "locked 30fps" and now we see it's dipping down to 10.I too am excited that unfinished builds of games don't run perfectly.

Your desperation is pretty pathetic, and the same goes for anyone else pretty much making a fool out of themselves if they're actually batshit insane enough to believe the performance of Dead Rising 3 right now is anything remotely close to what it was like back then. Do you even realize what the heck Dead Rising 3 performed like back then? The performance was downright atrocious. We aren't talking a few drops here and there. It was almost 100% unplayable, even with very little happening on screen. The current state of the game is a pretty big ass leapfrog over the older builds. The performance, on average, is in the 28-30fps range in most gameplay scenarios according to that 14 minute DF video that they feel covers a wider range of gameplay scenarios.
Months ago you could barely encounter a small number of enemies without performance completely grinding to a halt. Now you can literally encounter seemingly hundreds of enemies and mow them down with pretty solid performance, with some drops here and there, but never to the point of being completely unplayable, particularly because it rebounds pretty nicely heading right back up to the higher performance numbers. So, nice try at the troll, but it's a pretty epic fucking fail on your part for the simple fact that it showcases an almost laughable level of ignorance regarding how far this game has come performance wise compared to 3 or 2 months ago. But, who am I kidding? Of course some of the trolls occupying this thread know Dead Rising's performance today can't be compared to the way it was months ago, but if they admitted that much, what ever else would they have to say?![]()

Its just a launch game...] If I had to guess, I'd say the rushed production of the title is resulting in its relatively embarrassing state.
