Kingdom of Heaven DC again. Black Rain, GI Jane, and White Sqall were all better movies and not even included in the competition.

KoH is out.
FINAL ROUND

8. Thelma & Louise
7. Matchstick Men
6. Legend
5. Black Hawk Down
4. Gladiator
3. Kingdom of Heaven

New Round
Alien (1979)
Blade Runner (1982)

I vote Alien.

I'll vote Alien, but only in opposition to the Blade Runner Director's Cut.

but Blade Runner

Alien is a great suspense flick. Fantastic. The last 20mins of that movie are brilliant, absolutely stunning. One of the very few movies that actually had me on the edge of my seat.

I felt the same way. The first time I watched it was actually around midnight, by myself, having just gotten home from an afternoon shift at work, and sitting alone in the dark in the family living room. I couldn't believe they achieved so much in a film from 1979. Simply stunning. I would still like to see the Director's Cut...

Man this is a tough choice...

Alibladenhunter

damnit.

um

Ok... Blade Hunter.

EDIT: Wow. Typing that at the end of my shift was not a good idea. I of course meant Blade Runner. :lol

Absolutely love them both. But the atmosphere and dread in Alien is perfect. It's hard to believe that the film is almost 30 years old.

Blade Runner.
