Ecks. I can't imagine calling it cross.
A cross stands on one leg. That's an X in the OP.
A cross doesn't need to stand at all, it's a geometic concept.
X button for me. I think the cross nomenclature is more common in Europe.
Interesting fact, la croix (the drink) is pronounced "la-croy", not craw like cross. What makes this even more bizarre is that it's made in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Ecks all the way, though.
Google St. Andrew's crossPapee-eh mâché

Google St. Andrew's cross
Which is why I said you are technically right. Since we're talking about an image in the OP tho...
Does everyone say square or quadrilateral?
The very first thing is literally (+ or ×). It's not some weird technicality and it's directly related to OP.
What about this game? I always said Street Fighter Ex Tekken, but the most popular way to say it is Cross Tekken apparently.
It's not a cross, tho.
I could just google cross instead of a specific example that proves the rule. The Bolton's are another example.
Listen, it's really not a big deal. I'm just having a little fun. Call it what you want!
How is it not a cross?
Teiyu Goto said:I gave each symbol a meaning and a color. The triangle refers to viewpoint; I had it represent one's head or direction and made it green. Square refers to a piece of paper; I had it represent menus or documents and made it pink. The circle and X represent 'yes' or 'no' decision-making and I made them red and blue respectively. People thought those colors were mixed up, and I had to reinforce to management that that's what I wanted.
Man you're really entrenching yourself on this particular hill. I guess if you want to be wrong might as well defend it all the way. X is a cross. It's a specific type of cross called a saltire.
I call it 'ecks'.
Im Catholic, so I call it the Crucifix
