Just give me a time and a place. I'll be there within the next 24 hours with champagne to boot.

Other paper doesn't have cupcake melded to itTotally thought this was a common thing, I feel really weird now. Lol.
even cupcakes?![]()
What happens if you get frosting on your finger?
Oh God, what?
Has anyone actually said yes yet?
Cupcakes are fine, but I may never be able to eat one again.
I have a phobia/OCD thing where I freak out over things in mouths that don't belong and paper is the among the top tier triggers for me.

Mmm... Nothing like that globby, fibrous mess slowly dissolving in your mouth as you desperately try to choke it down.I have a phobia/OCD thing where I freak out over things in mouths that don't belong and paper is the among the top tier triggers for me.
Several people have seen the light.
Sorry about that, hopefully you can put it off enough.

10pm at the suspension bridge. Bring rope and Marmite.
It's been bad enough in the past that I sometimes have to struggle with eating disorders because of it. Seriously, it's the stupidest thing ever. I had convince myself that forks with food on them were okay.

I don't think it's a phobia because I can't find it in the 'phobia' list. More likely some weird expression of OCD. Had it most of my life. My little brothers took full advantage of it, as even the claim that they'd put something in my soda would cause me to give it to them.Admittedly I've never heard of something like that before, but we've all got our kinks.
I'm that way with drinks.
If there is dust, or anything at all, in my drink I can't drink it.
One time when I was younger I went to take a drink of water and my mouth became full of wet dust. I look at the drink and some how a ton of dust fell into the cup.

Sounds like it could be residual symptoms of an eating disorder.
I had a good friend who was a doctor and primarily treated adolescents with eating disorders. Having abnormal or paranoid thoughts about food can often be a result of habits forming around bad thought patterns that were originally simply a result of being malnourished in the first place.
This came up with a search and seemed similar:

Huh, that's interesting. I thought the 'phobia' caused the eating disorder, not the other way around.
And it's interesting that I still have periods where I can't eat (just got over one such period, figured it was related to other things). This last one lasted nearly a full week.
Are you able to break that shit down enough to swallow?! Seems like it would turn into a big sloppy mess.
WoofI've peeled off some of the cake stuck to the paper, before. Eating the paper is just weird, like what a dog or goat or something would do.
The relationship is probably kind of cyclical, as being malnourished can certainly reinforce unhealthy thought patterns. A brain that's running on fumes will be "dumber" in a sense. I still have trouble with this from time to time, and have learned to basically stop myself whenever I have unhealthy thoughts and go eat before I consider dwelling on them further.
Do you eat condoms after sex?
Maybe if I stop considering it a phobia and start thinking of it more as an eating disorder I might be able to start moving past it. Seriously, I've always just thought it was something I had to deal with, and planned my life accordingly. Thanks a bunch for the advice.
no one told you? Its fucking paper, you really need to be told not to eat it?Suppose it was more that no one told me it wasn't. Tastes good!

It's paper with sweet bread! In any case, that particular comment was a jokey reply to the comment quoted.
