Do You Eat The Muffin/Cupcake Liners?

It's probably not good for you being that they put stuff In the paper so it doesn't burn when baked. Not to mention color additives and the material the paper is from. If you are young, you should probably stop eating the paper, who knows if it isn't building up in your intestines or if your body is not properly digesting it. God speed paper eater, god speed.....

It's doubtful it would build up in his system like that.

However, paper is highly toxic. It's really not made for consumption.

You bake your cupcakes at 452+ degrees?

Yes, little known fact is that they put deadly poison in a product meant to wrap around food we cook.

Last week during Thanksgiving I was at a family event where someone had made cupcakes. I grabbed one and as usual pulled the liner out and ate it before touching the cupcake, to the apparent horror of the person standing next to me. I've always done so, as I enjoy the mixture of the thin paper and sweet bread. The person next to me as mentioned however found this pretty gross. Had never really thought of it prior to this point so where do you lie on the matter?

Are you seriously wondering why someone would find this gross?

Let me put it simply: You are eating paper. Is it paper caked with bread? Yeah, but c'mon man. Next you'll tell me you eat Reese's wrappers because they get bits of the chocolate and peanut butter stuck on the bottom.

I do chew the muffin liner, when no one is around, though I've never thought of actually swallowing it.

Some things you don't do when others are watching. It's like licking the plate, when you're by yourself.

Yo I passed this thread like half a dozen times, thinking I just misread the thread title...WTF!?

They got some weird ass dudes on this site man. Now I don't feel bad about eating the skin on baked potatoes sometimes.

Wait, I like eating baked potatoes with the skin on. Is that wrong/weird?

On baked potatoes it might be a little weird as they're usually not washed/cleaned properly for baking. Not to mention "baked" for some people means nuke it for 2 mins. I never eat the skin when baked, even if I prepare it myself. I dunno, baked just means the inside for me. If roasted or boiled then it's different as you've most likely properly washed the potatoes with the intention of eating the skin. Some people even leave the skin in for mashed.

no. just no.

So I remember being in grade school and there were these kids with mullets eating notebook paper one morning. They were tearing strips off of the sheet and commenting on the flavor. I sat there watching them for probably like ten minutes and one of the two looked at me and asked "you have some kind of staring problem, faggot?"

Even when I was like nine I realized how absurd this was.

Sometimes I'll chew on a small bit of paper from my notebooks like it's gum, but I won't purposely eat whole chunks of it, that's plain strange.

Just wash your potatos. Picking up some baked potato halfs and eating them is great.

I've had people make me feel weird for eating potato skins before, but this is some next level shit right here.

Who the fuck doesn't eat potato skin? Unless they're raw leftovers from making roast potatoes, chips(fries) or crisps(chips)

The skin is the best bit. Especially for a jacket(baked) potato

I've chewed on the paper like gum, but never swallowed.

Yeah honestly I've tried that once or twice lol usually to push the cupcake together and off of the paper.

But this can't be serious no one can make it through life without realizing that eating eating non food items is unusual...

Most aren't served with wax paper.

Not wax paper. But the slightly waxy texture to the average wrapper. It can be harmful to you. It's not edible.

This is exactly true. The paper used for these is NOT meant to be eaten and can be very harmful over time. Eating things that are not edible is not wise.

I used to chew on the paper as a kid. I'd absorb all the leftover crumbs and whatnot before spitting it out, but I'd never actually swallow it. You're crazy OP
