Most of the time, no. If it's something that looks like it came from a cheap anime, then yes. I tend to identify people by their avatar but I don't think I judge them as such.

On topic: Generally not in a negative way. The avatar is the "face" of the person I see, but that's not really a judgment. There are some bad avatars out there, but the vast majority are fine.

Of course I do, avatars become a posters "voice" as well. I'll always try and evaluate a post based it's content, but I do judge a bit based on avatars, is what it is.

For the most part no, because without proper context as to why someone chose a particular avatar, who am I to judge? And aside from that, it's the content of their post that matters. The only exception is if their avatar is really hateful or grotesque in some way; but then those people tend not to last long on this forum.
