Not really even though I haven't played it much. Now if Switch 2 games start running worse than the Switch 1 version then I will regret it. Silent Hill F on PS5 Pro is killing me. It would be like Metroid Prime 4 having graphical issues making it look worse than the Switch 1 version.

No. The hardware is great, and there are excellent games so far; Donkey Kong is my game of the year. Playing Cyberpunk in intercontinental flights really makes economy class more acceptable.

However, I think that Nintendo is dropping the ball in some regards, especially when it comes to third party games: they have console that can run almost everything in good conditions, but there does not seem to be much urgency to convince third party studio to bring their games.

I've barely touched this damn thing. I've probably used it less then 5 hours since I bought it and I bought the console, pro controller, and GameCube controller.

I was soooo excited to replay BOTW, TOTK, and TWW. Then I played 2 hours of BOTW and was like yep this is BOTW, and then I played TWW and while it's my favorite Zelda of all time I remembered how much I vastly prefer the WiiU version of the game in nearly every single way but art style.

How can you regret buying a system less than 4 months into its lifecycle? Especially one from Nintendo. Regardless of the bullshit they pulled with pricing and key cards and online/expansion pass needing a family account to play on the same system, they will still produce must play bangers.

Are you regretting that you didn't not purchase one to show them how much you hate their bullshit? They don't care.

Actually I do kind of regret getting one because my 6 year old figured out I haven't set any limits on his account so he plays it in bed after bedtime. But it is kind of impressive how much progress in BotW he is making,.

Mario Kart was a bit shit but will likely improve in time.

The console is great, software so far is fine to very good, you know the games are coming and we've had some nice bc upgrades for free. The online stuff is good for the cheap price and extra performance / features.

The rest is Nintendo being Nintendo, I can skip those nasty keycards (may aswell go digital) and avoid stuff like Galaxy (still have originals). Tbh I am happy for filler as long as we don't get N64 style droughts.

So, no I am quite happy, will get 5 - 7 years out of it which is more than I did with xbox x.

I started playing BioShock on it because a) never played it and apparently was a short game and b) because it's one of the largest titles and will free that space once I finish it. The LCD is a bit distracting because I play at night and the bright grayish blacks is a bit distracting (plus there are a few graphical glitches occurring every 2 or 3 minutes lasting one frame). Controls are fine, playing in handheld mode only, battery is fine I gues, yesterday I played from 11 PM to 2 AM with battery going from 88% to 15%. Loading times are short, should try it on my Switch 1 to compare them really but too lazy I guess. Main gripe is storage size, 256+256 while I had a 1tb card in the other, so most games aren't still downloaded due lack of room. In fact I had to use the virtual card system to move games back to the oled after the transfer so that they aren't downloaded in the Switch 2 (many small indie games like Slay the Spire, plus games I don't think require the extra power from the Switch 2). And it's heavy but since I'm adult I can handle it.

Haven't played any S2 games yet, but bought DKB, Cyberpunk and MKW. Not into game key cards but my perception about them changed, right now I think I prefer digital only rather than key card because people around me wouldn't buy it, however digitals down here have a 21% tax so some digital games are more expensive than even new physical games.

Also I think the S2 will raise its price by the end of the year / beginning of next year so I preferred to buy it now than waiting for a discount. So, overall I'm more happy than not. Test will be playing one of the big Zeldas or one of the S2 games, though.
