I just looked that up, and that pretty much hits the point right between hideous and hilarious. If you're not pinrolling them...absolutely.
If you care or not is a whole different story.
But think about it this way.I just looked that up, and that pretty much hits the point right between hideous and hilarious.
How do people run around like that and actually think they look good...
But think about it this way.
You still wear Levis 501's.
do they even still have a section for that anymore in retail stores?

A lot of people saying their athletic frames fit best in skinny jeans... most fit athletic people I know could never wear them. Too much muscle mass in the hips and thighs
both of my jeans have holes in the knees.. i guess i have to buy new ones
As a fat guy getting slimmer this is roughly the kind of fit I ended up with when eyeballing an online purchase lately. First day I wasn't feeling it, but I'm coming around. Part of it is that I've been wearing jeans two sizes too big for a few months now though.I'm a skinny guy so I stick with slim-fit jeans. They're the boxer-briefs of jeans - not too baggy, and not too tight.
This is usually the kind of look I aim for, although with slightly less "slack" in the ankles:

I'm getting more of that style, stretch jeans are the best.
Also I've never had a pair of Levi's and I have no idea what these 3 digit codes mean...
I think I had a pair about 10 years ago.SIzing down by one or two sizes with 501 shrink to fits produces a nice, slim silhouette. Don't talk shit if you've never tried them.
That would explain his high pitched voice, non?
Tailored jeans? lol

I can guarantee you my skinny jeans are more comfortable than whatever boot cut abomination you buy.Yes.

Uh yeah, they're certainly better than fucking joggers and I got sick of being dad-core with chinos all the time.jeans

Truth, and that's even more true if you're under 6 feet, because you also already suffer from height-to-waist massive mismatch (M has got a highschooler waist and reasonable length, L has got a normally fit adult waist but it's tailored around 6+ feet tall people). No way I could ever buy perfectly fit jeans, because my pelvic crest is blatantly a 46/12/L, unless I became a skeleton I wouldn't be able to go any lower, so I just settle for L and I rubber band cuff them to avoid having them go baggy at the bottom.
Yeah it costs like 10 bucks to get pants tailored near me. Used it for all of my chinos and don't regret it.You can get jeans tailored. It isn't expensive at all. I'm not trying to convince you to go towards the skinny fad or anything, but you don't need to rubber band then so they stick to your legs.
I have gigantic tree trunk legs. This skinny trend is the worst for me.As more fitted clothing becomes more mainstream, every time I clothes shop and try regular fit jeans, they just feel so baggy.
I know online there's this irrational hate of skinny fits, but a reasonable skinny for men shouldn't be tight as women's styles. I have athletic thighs so I do slim fits. But have tried some skinny styles that looked fine and no I didn't look like I was wearing spandex lol.
Regular fit jeans are never gonna die out, but personally they don't just fit my style anymore.
What about you?

Also have a short torso so need to wear pants low on my waist to not look like Urkel. It's an awkward combo. Regular fits have always just been too tight. Why? I mean straight fit should fit like slim to you. You have muscle mass.

As someone born in 1987, growing up wearing as baggy clothes as possible, this thread scares me.
Skinny jeans are abominations.

Oof, I actually like joggers but that is not a good looking pair. Waaay too much contrast between colors and materials for my taste.
Something like this looks better IMO

Anyway, as far as jeans, regular fit just seems wrong nowadays. Plenty of great fitting slim jeans out there, you just need to find the brand that has the best fit for you.
Bonobos tailored are my goto "pricier" pair that accentuates my butt best, though I wait for sales :3

Slim Fit
this is not the early 2000s
also in terms of levi's the 511 & 513 are perfect, the 514's are just getting a tad baggy
What the heck are these about? I feel like all three examples would look way better as normal pants than having elastic cuffs for seemingly no reason. Is there an origin story behind these things?
