Does the Ryzen 3000 Series support 4K Blu-ray playback?

Does the Ryzen 3000 Series officially support 4K Blu-ray playback or is an Intel CPU required? I know that in regard to Intel CPUs, only those belonging to the 7th generation (Kaby Lake) can officially playback 4K Blu-ray discs. However, I don't know whether or not any generation of Ryzen CPUs can officially playback 4K Blu-ray discs and which generation is the youngest one that can do so.

I use the word "officially" because I know that any CPU that's fast enough can be used to bypass the copyright protection of 4K Blu-ray discs via AnyDVD and play the video files thereon or even copy them. However, I'm interested in playing the discs via licensed software, such as PowerDVD.

I have a Ryzen 3950X, by the way.
