I doubt the Demo Heroes is as fast as that, probably dramatized.

Then again they already need to load the hero model so you can see it. It's a short walk from there to just putting you in a dumbed down version of the game.

Oh I think they are. One of the features of Source 2 is faster load times if I'm not mistaken, as well as streaming, so I'm guessing the "Someone just loaded in" stutter will be gone.

Looks like a cut, though it'll probably be faster than it is now.

That demo mode seems like a nice way to test things too, hope we get a practice mode of sorts to test out stuff easily.

So one of the Watch options is now Inline Stream. Properly done I could see that going a long way to make in-client viewing more prevalent. Ticketed tournaments could see a decent lift from some of the other features, too.
