Yeah, love PL.

What happened to that Pudge? Also, a good Meepo, I'm impressed!

So many deaths, though. Meepo did better. 19 deaths in a game from one person is... yeah.
That reminds me, if you kill a Meepo with a Divine Rapier or Gem, does the DR or Gem drop at the Meepo that was actually killed's position or under "Meepo One"'s position. I'm just thinking if you know one Meepo is in trouble and can't get out, you can just TP the main Meepo back to base and there you go, safe DR and Gem.

19 is in the kills column. PL died 1 time.
So I've had the beta for a long time but I've never played mainly for the fact I have no clue what I'm doing and don't want to ruin someone's game. Any other people that suck that want to play with me let me know.
- Six damage instances disables it. Just as with Templar Assassin's Refraction, heroes like Dark Seer, Venomancer, and Axe joining a gank can help blast it off almost as long as it has been up on a hero.
I stand corrected!Actually, no. Since it's physical damage block DOT damage doesn't burn through it like it does refraction.
Fuck bot games. Play one or two and watch a guide on YouTube to learn the basics, then just get in there. The sooner the better. You're gonna ruin people's game when you go live anyway. Just go into matchmaking, pick a ranged support hero, type "first game, sry" in the chat, listen to the sighs, go into a lane with some one else, play really defensively and try not to take the retards coming down on you in the chat too seriously.
you guys don't think some of the items sold on the Dota store are expensive?

Zhi is the best at awkward interviews. You should watch his other videos with cosplayers.

There's certainly a valid arguement here, but it takes time to learn the nuances of how each hero works in this game. Bot games give you a chance to learn different heroes in a relatively stress free environment.
Or, you know, you can just play them for fun too. My friend almost never plays anything besides coop bot games because he doesn't have the time to really learn the game so he likes to just jump in and play a coop game or two when time permits. People in DOTA tend to freak out when you make any kind of mistake, so it's definitely daunting for new/casual players.
SO guys I heard its cool to make generalizations about Russians in here.
When you're vsing better players, you know you're getting better.. that is as long as your k/d doesn't get substantially worse.I think I've spent like $15 on pennants and tickets and such.
And I play bot games---and am likely to only play bot games because the thing that I've always found in any competitive multiplayer games is that I enjoy the consistent level of difficulty that bots provide. The ups and downs of mm games in every game make me bonkers because I have a hard time figuring out if I'm getting better.
Had some epic pubstomps with the newly buffed ranged agi carries today. I'm in normal bracket so it doesnt mean anything but still pretty funny.

In my very limited experience I've found early MM games easier than playing against bots, simply because when you are starting up, your enemies are as bad as you or more even. Also, people rage in bot games too for whatever reason, and quit early much more often. I've played with some gaffers and have good experiences in MM, where I certainly feel I'm learning a lot.
Regarding the cosmetics topic, I've only bought a couple of pennants so far, and will probably spend no more than $10-20 on items. I agree that, when they have 100+ heroes, each with 6+ possible different item slots (+ couriers and consumables) and a shitload of different items, having stuff cost $5+ per slot is a bit excessive. I'll just make do with drops, I like the regular designs a lot anyway.
Even with all the buffs, Batrider is still the 3rd least picked character. Also, Bounty Hunter has over Taken Invoker as the #2 most popular pick.
Dotabuff now has a page for just 6.75:

Treant dropped like a brick, which is unsurprising. His new active is better only when trying to save a single person from a gank, while the old one made people across the board harder to kill. Its going to be great for pro games, but for pubs it just sucks.
We've already been talking about that page a few pages back, but yeah, weird to see Batrider so low still, he's being first ban material in pro games.
Who's ready for Centaur, Slark and Windrunner cosmetics this week?
Chinese G-1 League is hosting their first Dota 2 tournament with a $52,000 prize pool.
GodZ and LD will be casting in English.

And Brazilians, always weirds me out.
Making it so you can't tell if you're being charged by Spirit Breaker was the dumbest change they made.

Any reason to ward more is a good reason.
Why? It makes no sense to be told that you're being charged.
