Just wait til you get put with people that do that...and they're WRONG about something. I was Sand King on the long lane with Omniknight once (it was the optimal set up for the heroes we had), and he was yelling at me for not taking Caustic Finale and instead maxing my stun. I told him why I didn't take it, and he was just like "Sand King always takes Caustic Finale first."

This motherfucking game. I hate it so much sometimes. Just had a Clinkz on my team throw away a huge advantage (we didn't have rax yet, but we could have taken them really easily) by buying a Rapier and dying to the enemy Naix, who then proceeded to buttfuck us into oblivion with it (they also got an Aegis on him) So dumb. I did not have such an infuriating loss in a long time.
I can get annoying, but this was beyond what i have done IMO(one of them got banned lol)

My team was dealing with that last night, not to mention the keeper of the light sitting in the jungle pulling and feeding them chakra mana. Shit is ridiculous!

My alt-steam account got a beta invite a few weeks back. I played 3 matches in the kiddie pool, and by 5 matches I was facing dudes in my general skill-level.
So from my experience smurfing is not very effective. Especially given that the kiddie pool matches are awful ordeals to sit through even if you are destroying fools.
Both have no mana, and are melee. Try keeper, manaleak them and nuke them from long range. Or you can even Mana Drain them with Lion even more safely now due to its stupid long range. Silencer can force them to ether cast their spells early, or just bleed their mana slowly.

Do russians go to US east?? I'm having every game at least one guy who writes in russian only (or english to call idiots noobs etc others when things go wrong), pings everywhere all the time and my team follows them to death again and again.
I don't care playing with people who are bad (I am) but damn, people who are bad and are the whole game throwing shit to others and dragging the whole team with them... damn. For example,a Night Stalker pinigng me and telling me "use your skills idiot". His theory was that I did not use my skills because I had full mana. On a Death Prophet with Blood Stone and Cyclone.

Wow. Nerfs to nearly every aspect of the skill. I knew Stampede was strong but it makes you wonder why they thought it was at all OK to begin with!

Nope that was not me (although yes I get 4 russians sometimes). I'm only playing EU by now. Im asking because I have good ping in US east and maybe there I can avoid people who only speak russian. I'll take Portuguese, Spanish or French if I have to.

SingSing just had a pretty epic silencer game. 74 minutes long, ended with 300 int. By the end the enemy venomancer couldnt even cast his ult because he had <300 mana.
It was funny because they were being destroyed after 25 minutes and sing said "you know we can still win this, if i just get 50 more kills none of them will have mana anymore"

A well played cent is really tough to deal with. My friend got fucked pretty bad playing centaur by a really good wisp who would use his tether to kind of clothesline people charging in teamfights. Sniper is nutty but hes not THAT much better. Disables and some autoattacks still destroy him. If you wanna have a fun time run bounty hunter and kill sniper until he ragequits

Until the nerf hits I'd just try and snag Disruptor if you see they've got a Centaur. Its not a great counter, but there's literally nothing they can do about Kinetic Field (aside from a Silence effect) and you don't actually need to trap them in it, you just need to block them off from getting to you and your allies until it wears off. Which is, of course, only situationally useful...
I almost exclusively play single draft so yeah, while I could counter-pick them if I had the option to generally I have to work with what I've got. I feel counter-picking is just taking the easy route though, and it's more rewarding to learn to adjust play-style to beat different heroes. It's just these two heroes brutally punish bad positioning and hesitation, which everyone is guilty of from time to time.
Maybe it has to do with the boots change as well. I'm not able to predict the exact ranges where I'm safe or not as well as I could before.

Actually it doesn't depend since there's no one with Thai/Pakistani/Indian etc. features.
I'm sure Valve will flesh out the "lore" of Dota and explain the races/tribes/etc., but some characters are obviously from the same "race" while others seem to be in between or their own thing. It's kind of a strange hodgepodge right now.
