Dendi and his 4stack griefed their 5th pub to abandon by wisp-recalling him into a cliff! This is an outrage! Dendi is a role-model for Dota noobies everywhere, and this behavior is unacceptable! Soon we'll have 12 year olds imitating his behavior and teleporting players to cliffs throughout the nation! Professional players need to be held accountable for their actions and Dendi should be punished for doing such a thing! More breaking news as the story develops!

Shoutouts to all my fans. Fans rejoice, haters go apeshit!.

STFU, you pile of shit HoN piece.

I don't even remember who I played with specifically but I know it was some mix of Yuber, Milkman, Haly, Bzm and others. I wasn't really trying to single out one person specifically with my posts. I'm not saying everyone raged at me or anything like that but from others I gathered that the whole IHL was kind of unfun for everyone who wasn't part of the HoN GAF inner circle.

I've had the same experience with Haly and Milkman too, vile people they are, spewing unrelentless abuse from their mics all the time. I don't want to single out one person or a community but it was definitely Haly and Milkman, the heads of HoN GAF.

hongaf so salty

HoN needs to die and be erased from history.

Fuck IHL just do a gaf night like sc2 does

I never got the impression that Dendi was ever a role model. He was always goofy on camera and never said much. Also I dont think he should be punished by Valve considering there isnt an equivalent of a Riot's Summoners Code when you start up your game.

Man, I love Tiny. Strong hero in all parts of the game. I usually play him as a ganker in the midgame (Arcane Boots, Blink) and then get carry items afterwards. That has worked okay so far, but I really want to try the (ex-)coL Tiny build sometimes (Phase Boots, Drums, Yasha, Aghanim's, Manta). Clubbing fools with a tree is really fun.

Lol I read about this, I would be so pissed if I got an abbandon because of that shit.

1. Did you play in the previous IHL? Are you interested in another IHL?

Yes I did.

2. If you did play, what did you like about it? What didn't you like?

I liked playing with different/same people and the mumble chat. What i didn't like?... Mmmm There was no challenge. I was rolling fools left and right. I expected better competition.

3. Do you have any feedback on how to improve the last IHL? What you would like to see in the next IHL that was absent previously?

Pull for better players.

4. The issue of stacking. Did you feel that teams were stacked in terms of player skill? For those who aren't aware, the way we created teams last IHL, we had two volunteers be the captains of radiant and dire. Each captain would take turns in a 1-2-2-2-1 fashion choosing players in the lobby to join their team, with a preference towards players who didn't play in the last game, so everyone would get a chance to get in. Would you prefer to see a set list of possible captains? Preset teams? Did you like the way we did player drafting?

Wasn't an issue because the team that I was playing with was the one usually stacked. Mostly thanks to me.

5. The issue of stale hero picks. Was it really an issue? Did you get burned out on generally the same picks each game? Would RD be better than CM in the next IHL? What's your preference?

No issue for me. I can play any hero and i find all of them fun.

6. The issue of new and experienced players playing together. I know some players loved this and some hated it. New players often had someone to look towards to guide them and allow them to experience some actual team cohesion and teamwork. Other players found it incredibly frustrating. Would it be better to separate new and competent players or is the previous way okay?

I did not have an issue babysitting most of mumble dota. Would do it next time.

I hope that was sarcasm.

I was reading up that thread on reddit yesterday. So much stupid. I feel bad for Dendi because it seems he cares about what reddit thinks

wtf is going on in this thread. its like everyone went from talking about dota 2 to speaking chinese or something. I have no idea what the conversation is about now. lol

1. Did you play in the previous IHL? Are you interested in another IHL?

Yes and yes.

2. If you did play, what did you like about it? What didn't you like?

Pros: Playing with new people. Lots of games available. Vast breadth of knowledge so great opportunities to learn.

Cons: I was in the 1.09 stack game. I really didn't like the player drafting. It led to the same people captaining which were generally the high skill players who picked from the same pool of individuals. I spent most of the league sitting in the lobby. Now, I could have gone into the captain's chair but since I'd just had the game for about two months I didn't feel comfortable in that position.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how we could address it. The issue with that stacked game was someone being familiar with Gaffer skill levels vs a captain who was brand new to the game and community. Also, I know one of the goals was to figure out people's approximate ELO by having them play so without knowing that it seems hard to balance the teams.

3. Do you have any feedback on how to improve the last IHL? What you would like to see in the next IHL that was absent previously?

I do like the idea of having a more stable schedule for when games are available.

4. The issue of stacking. Did you feel that teams were stacked in terms of player skill?

See above. Didn't really like the player drafting but I have no idea how you could change it.

5. The issue of stale hero picks. Was it really an issue? Did you get burned out on generally the same picks each game? Would RD be better than CM in the next IHL? What's your preference?

Not an issue in my eyes. When you play captain's mode people are going to gravitate towards the high tier picks but given the difference in skill levels will lead to some interesting picks. Gaf ahead of that Undying meta-game.

6. The issue of new and experienced players playing together. I know some players loved this and some hated it.

I like it but it makes it extremely more difficult to balance teams. However, it offers the opportunity to play with people you'd never be able to before and is a great learning experience if you're new/not as skilled so I would like to see it kept in some fashion.

HOLY shit this rubick big fucking plays.

its funny that winter and LGD are on the same page right when he says they should rosh lgd pings rosh. but this new team is catching them off guard.

Dark Seer naix bomb - nice
it didnt even work as good as it could have.. he didnt get his ulti off in time, rubick RP steal saved them

Hi, does anyone have extra Pudge Pants or Rare Pudge Pants they don't want? I'm trying to get them for a friend before his Bday in the next few days. I'd really appreciate it if someone was willing to trade them!

Thanks!!!

happy to see lgd.cn vs ig instead of another ig stomp of vg

disappointed that vg threw another game again because they cant finish correctly when they have big leads.

VG did pretty well for a team of pubs that only play together for like 2 months or something. Give them a few months and they'll be pretty scary I think.

Also Yao is pretty fucking good. Holy crap.

I was definitely cheering for VG during this tournament. Not a fan of how LGD.cn plays. Mostly lame tactics, turtling, abusing flavor-of-the-month heroes. They aren't a fun team to watch play as they just sit back and absorb pressure until the enemy team makes a mistake or blows a fight and they can counter.

? VG naix'd (fotm), and used that cheesy rage heart regen tower siege strat in game 3. G2, they syllabear Sven'd, which if isn't FoTM I don't know what is. LGD plays cohesion dota, they push and deathball when they know they can, and fall back and defend when they can't. Iunno what games you've been watching, but LGD isn't some stale chinese team pubs make them out to be. Hell, they even drafted necrolyte!

Its not abusing FotM heroes if they fit in your team's usual playstyle; its good drafting. While their style isn't the most fun to watch, its a smart and safe way to play the game.

Nobody watching this Defense game?

Notidehunter just lost to an Ursa.

NTH picked all OP heroes, Magnus Batrider, Luna, Rubick, Nyx and the enemy team Turtle picked Ursa, Windrunner, Earthshaker, Keeper Of The Light and Naga, they went level 1 rosh.

So funny.

Drow went AFK at three minutes. I'm Charles Barkley. At about 55 minutes BH just wandered into their base and took down the middle rax and ancient.

Funny thing; the mouse I've been using had been stuck at a low DPI (and getting lower?) for months, but I guess I got used to it. Then the mouse finally bit it, and while I was trying to find out why, I plugged in my old mouse and DAMN.

'I'll bet that maybe mousing the camera won't be a goddamn pain in the ass anymore', I thought, so I spent some points and got a new mouse and tested them on some games.

Wow.

I can do everything now, and it doesn't freeze when not active for a few seconds and what have I been doing to myself? Now for some DOTA testing!

wait you got TWO? WTF im so unlucky....

Sorry to hear you didn't get some luck your way. :( I equipped the Golden one...although I'm not sure what it effects in game unless it's just the appearance of my courier?

just remembered this hero i liked to play in og dota, abaddon, whats the state of that hero?, he was awesome (in pubs)

thats some bullshit, met him only fucking once pretty sure both chest were essences.

Speaking of essences I have a few of those as well. What are they good for, item creation?
