Tried 2 bouts of All Random. 2 wins. Don't know, though. Felt a bit like Single Draft where sometimes a team simply is gifted a much better comp and you get stomped. But at least you can repick and access the full list of heroes available. Single Draft can just suck. Last time I played that mode, nobody on the team got a reliable stunner in their options. While the other team got 4. Felt bad. Went bad.
They did. His ult no longer lowers armor.
Also, my last game was team support/jungle vs team late game carry.
On the Radiant, we have Shadow Fiend, Enchantress, Dark Seer, Windrunner, and Magnus! On the Dire, we have Medusa, Phantom Lancer, Spirit Breaker, Undying, and Rubick!
We got to two exposed lanes of Barracks, but just couldn't push hard enough to win before :/

Yeah lycan is a pretty shitty jungler now, just free food for mid. Calling him a jungler post-nerf is akin to calling chaos knight a jungler because he can double stack and pull easy/normal camps. Shoulda just laned, especially against our melee lanes.

I wish icefraud would make it so his wolves had like 450-500 hp but did 10-15 damage to heroes, with a passive that increased damage against towers and creeps (but not ancients/roshan) to what the wolves damage is now. I liked his position as a jungler, the only problem is that he did it too fast and it kind of snowballed into early roshan. This change would make him an efficient jungler and pusher, but not able to do roshan early or have as much ganking presence.
Yeah I'm not sure how to change that hero. I like him as a jungler but if you wanted to take him back to that, he'd have to take mid/late game or pushing nerfs, and that would suck
. I'm kinda content with lycan as is, because he really is a pretty strong solo laner and can excel in lane with a good support player. That leads him to a 5 minute vlads and an 8 minute medallion (better than prenerf lycan), and he's the same crazy push hero from that point on. Also, people kind of underestimate and ignore lycan now because they assume he sucks, whereas before the entire game would be dedicated to shutting him down.I think icefrog's idea with the nerfs was that he would still be able to jungle, but he would be forced to tank and spend more money on health pots, thus leaving him more vulnerable to early game ganks and delaying his vlads. Unfortunately, this just completely killed his ability to jungle instead of slowing it down a tad. I think icefrog needs to reach a point where Lycan has to tank the creeps, and thus leave him open to early game ganks, but he needs to also give the hero +armor and reduce the mana cost of wolves to like 90-100. So he's still vulnerable to ganks, but he doesn't have to spend 80% of his cash on mana + health pots, and thus, can actually jungle without chain pulling.
tldr: Still a strong hero (I'm 9/10 with post nerf lycan), just needs to lane now. But like you said, I kind of miss his playstyle as a jungler, but that's hard to balance.

Ah Lycan. How far that hero has fallen. Dumpster-tier (or close to it) after almost always being a first round pick/ban.
Ah man, game just now where 1 of my friends randomly disconnected the game and skype, so we paused. Other team full of Russians kept unpausing and talking shit, wanted to fuck our mothers, it's gg anyway we're gonna win (they had all our outer towers and top rax). I lucked out and at the last minute I could pause again. So annoying you can't keep pausing when the other team unpauses constantly. He came back, and after all that we kept picking them off and winning teamfights so hard 1 of them ragequit and then they all left while we were destroying their base. Delicious Russian tears.
He's still just as OP really, just lane him like a normal carry and he will still rape all the buildings/rosh anyway. Only difference is, there is no 100% guarantee he will get free farm like he did in the jungle.

This was post patch. I'm just that good.
Had a game last night that 4 of us disconnected just as the creeps spawned and nobody paused. We all eventually reconnected 3/4+ mins later. Despite the crappy early game, we came back and won. Pretty satisfying.
We'll have to wait and see how he does in CM I suppose. He feels pretty OP to me as well but so far he's not really been dominating any of my matches now that I think about it.

Join the NeoGAF chat channel and ask if anyone wants to party up. Sometimes it may be hit or miss though depending on of people are in the middle of games and being off-cycle with them.

They're sitting on so many heroes right now that aren't in cm (Slark, Drow, Centaur, Medusa, Timber, Silencer) I'd be surprised if troll made it in this week, which is kind of disappointing since I like the hero.
What are the bugs that prevent some of them from being put in? I know drow/centaur/silencer got balance changes, but I'm not seeing why slark and timber aren't in.
No reason they just havent.

I went 2 for 8 this weekend match making used to be 50:50 now it's all screwed up.
This is like the most stupid match ever
I was ursa and sucked all the game.
Our medu sucked even more most of the game.
Even worse, they got mega creeps and we didnt even got a 3rd tier tower down.
EVEN WORSE, medusa buys Divine Rapier and later she dies in the enemy base (with me, after she didnt listen to me when I said go bacK)
