Either way having cringey scenes in a games cutscenes or marketing doesnt mean the entire game is "about" here ass and tits. There just apart of her sexy factor which is ok since there is zero wrong with the male gaze.

I'm not demonizing the tradition of the male gaze, tits and ass are nice to look at, I won't disagree there. I just hate when a game makes it's entire marketing about something so inferior to the game's actual quality.
Did the game's debut trailer really need all the weird close up slow-mo shots of the protagonists ass? No it didn't, the game looks fun as fuck and made with love and I would much rather the devs use that as the driving force for showing off their game instead of just getting thirsty men around the world to like game because hot = good.
Perverted may not be the correct term I will concede that, but I will say it is poor taste and not needed.

oh they were cringe i agree, but didn't make me as uncomfortable as the debut trailer for Stellar Blade did.
Again, I am not saying you can't have attractive characters in games, I am all for that, I just wish the devs were more focused on highlighting the kick ass game they made, instead of slow-mo shots of the protagonist's backside, Stellar Blade is a title I look forward to, I just wish the devs took a different path for their trailer direction.

The weird puritan shit is awful. The idea that we should mollify obesity with representation is absurd. I have zero sympathy for obesity aside from the literal 1 in 100 with actual thyroid problems. At no point should we be making fat hero's and heroines, we should be doing everything in our power to denormalize that shit. I live in a country of fatties and my taxes go to paying for their healthcare (Canada). I have absolutely no sympathy for those who can't put down the fork and excercise. I fly thousands of miles a week, and I'll wake up early to go without sleep just to get in a run and some gym time, discipline is important, and the social contract should be that obesity is not ok, it puts a strain on healthcare. Body positivity and representation of obesity should be almost zero.
I'm sorry, this isn't something like race or sexuality, these people made a choice to destroy themselves, and people like me see 40% of our paycheck gone to care for people who would eat themselves into a diabetic coma rather than take a walk. Body positivity is incredibly harmful to society, every bit as bad as bulemia and anorexia.
We should be showing sexy women, that should be the norm, just like it's the norm for male characters.

Beeing fat is not subjective, you have by medical objective definition stages of "over weight" and obesity based on body mass index and the risks that each individual stage brings to your health.
So one person may find that he/she is not fat but the medical literature and definition will disagree with them
Subjective is if you find a fat person beautiful or not ...

Fat is absolutely not subjective. There are clear healthy and normal levels of body fat for both sexes, with their respective upper and lower limits depending on genetics, lifestyle, age etc.
Anything above that comes with increased health risks and consequences, even if they are imperceptible at first.

Agreed, body positivity has went all the other way, people should be comfortable with who they are and embrace the things that make them different to conventional beauty standards.
But at the same time as a society we need to stop glorifying things that are actively harmful for the human body (obesity, anorexia, etc.)
It's gone too far the other way as society nowadays doesn't want to offend anyone, and as a result ends up missing on every occasion and creates a culture where we don't tell people the truth they need to hear.

My grandfather (the man who raised me) is deteriorating before my eyes with extremely aggressive cancer and it’s like this because during covid he couldn’t get an appointment for testing to find out what was wrong.There's a whole other place for people like you too buddy!

), my points kinda got misconstrued in my whole bashing of Stellar Blade, I am against this campaign entirely from Dove as it paints every dev with the same brush, a lot of devs just want to make characters in their games look conventionally attractive and that should not be a problem in the slightest, but that's modern culture for you.You're totally within your right to be angry, the world is going in a scary place where obesity is being normalised and anyone who speaks against it is labelled as a bigot and a villain when really they're just looking out for that person's health, it's insanity. I am a little on the heavier side myself (always been a big framed lad from my days playing Rugby haha), but I have lost a lot of weight in recent years and never once was happy with my situation and saw the truth of it all, I wish other people could see that too. And being that you are a doctor, you of all people should know this. Even you have acknowledged that you aren't FAT, but "a little fat".
There's a spectrum or a sliding scale (no pun intended lol) to who is a fat person or not.
I'd say YES, this game did need to do the bolded the first time we saw it. It really grabbed our eyeballs lol. But from here on out, they can fall back and not do those close-ups in the marketing. People seem to care waaay more about the game then the T&A.
