Probably a new take on "Pacts".
You may be right, it will be interesting to see.

I dread all the horrible things that'll happen to these two ladies..
Lots and lots of Tentacles...

Hopefully there's no weapon collecting this around, never did get all of them in D1/2

Tentacles are not even 'dreadful' horror compare to what protagonists had to face in Draken 1 and 2. Tentacles are actually fairly enjoyable.
It's profound in that I recognized how repetitive the game was but didn't care because I enjoyed everything about it. The weapon stories; Caim and Angelus; how morbid it was--everything felt tailor-made for me.The brilliance of Drakengard 1 is that even though I read the entirety of the LP, and listened to the soundtrack dozens of times, it still paled in comparison to playing the actual game.
It's a profound experience.
Mai future waifu ;_;
But how are they gonna continue the story?!
Draken 1-> Nier basically tells that mankind went extinct. Totally wiped out from the earth. Maybe this is prequel?
lol what?
Getting all of the weapons and the "reward" is the most memorable part of D1.
That was the best part and leveling them up and seeing them evolve into more deadly weapons. Along with the "stories".
I see you have a lot of experience with tentacles!
Its not so bad. Though I do remember the game occasionally stopping and loading mid-area. Like it would freeze. Remember Dirge of Cerberus?Yeah, count me in the 'need to find DK1 and play it' camp. I've read the LP too, but I've always meant to experience it first hand.
I have heard playing it is akin to pulling teeth, unlike Nier.

Tainted!!
I wonder if they plan on putting out a Drakengard HD Collection with the first two games before the new game is released. Access Games also did the Sengoku Basara HD Collection, so they have experience in porting PS2 games to PS3 too!

I will take tentacle over giant mountain size man eating angelic babies ANYDAY. How about you? =P
I'll still <3 her
True dedication. I still have much to learn.
Lots and lots of Tentacles...
We can share her with him you know, technically she's your waifu too.

Square Enix USA's online store still sells copies of the first game. http://store.na.square-enix.com/sto...256700/parentCategoryID.16256100#.UT_i1IeG0uI Definitely should get them up on PSN at the least.
It was $10 during the winter sale. Used games are icky.$19.99 lol. You can get 1 and 2 used from Amazon for around the same price.
Access Games? Have they ever made a good game? Serious question.
After Nier, I not looking forward to feeling depress at nearly every aspect of the story.
♫ That's what it's all about. ♫ (What a creepy video)Huh. At the very least, I hope this is a batshit insane as the first two.
Other than ending of Drakengard, I remember it wasn't quite as crazy as Nier, wonder if they are going to go for an inbetween or something with Nier's relatively vocal even if minor fanbase. Though I guess it depends a lot more on Japan's preferences than NA's.
Drakengard 1 had pedophilia, incest, child murder, cannibalism, fantasy nukes, eldritch giants, and a lot more.
