I preferred the movie, with Vegeta acting like an idiot trying his best to make Beerus happy, rather than standing around whimpering for two episodes.

Is this a new trend!? Every episode we get this thick outline strokes, I'm trying to convince myself they don't bother me but they feel so off!
This actually bothers me more than the shitty animation from the Goku vs Beerus confrontation.

Just back from vacation and caught up on the last two eps. Pretty good, although the pacing seems off to me (not by normal DBZ standards - just in comparison to BoG).
I'm enjoying it a lot. I still would have preferred them to move directly on to "new" material, but what we've got is hitting most of the right notes for me.

eh, at least this is (somewhat) new content with a few fun variations, Revival of F has a chance to be better than the movie itself, wich was a bit of a dissapointment.

Seriously, BoG was superior in pretty much every way. The only things I've liked so far in Super are scenes or versions of scenes that weren't in BoG like when Vegeta takes his family on a vacation.
Plus, Beerus comes across like a much bigger asshole in Super compared to BoG. This time around, he seems much more malicious than he needs to be.

His pool isn't exactly infinite. He ran out of energy while fighting Kid Buu.
But yeah, he definitely possesses properties of energy conservation and gathering unlike other characters.
Kid Buu never got tired against Goku it was amazing.

Yeah, I think trying to make sense of the power scale of characters is an exercise in frustration, post Freiza. Everyone is way stronger than the person that came before. Was Cell 10x stronger than Trunks when he beat Frieza and King Cold? *shrug*
The way I like to look at it, they can sense when someone is stronger but overdo their reactions to the power. If you start picking it apart, we should be at characters being 1000x stronger than Vegeta was when he came to earth, and silly stuff like that.

Pegging a character to a fixed power scale never make sense anyway. I think its easier to rank them into various tiers (here's what I think is the current tier):
Tier S: Beerus, Whis
Tier A: Vegeta, Goku, Buu
Tier B: Gotenk, Piccolo, Gohan
Tier C: 18, Tien
Tier D: Goten, Trunks, Krillin
Tier E: Master Roshi
Tier F: Chiaotzu, Yamcha

Gohan got his moment in the sun. He was literally the strongest character and hero of an arc. Even Gohan going from whiny brat to ready for battle in the Vegeta arc was good for him.
I'd rather either Vegeta or Piccolo get their time to shine for once. Either that, or the next generation (Goten and Trunks) steps up. Presumably, shouldn't they become WAY stronger than Goku or Vegeta? These kids are turning Super Saiyan as toddlers. They should become monsters when they're older.

It's cute when their power levels aren't too big or small like 12,000 or 18,000. It just becomes stupid when the power levels are at the range of 1,500,000,000.

Did you even watch RoF and the last Super episode? Tenshinhan did better against Freeza soldiers than Kuririn, who needed to be rescued at one point, and now in Super, Tenshinhan got hit by the same attack as Piccolo and #18 and was just as wounded as 18.
All that old nitpicking of out of context statements is pretty meaningless now that we have actual new material.

They should rescale power levels and release a databook. Just cut some zeros and make Goku SSJGSSJ only 1.000.000.000 / Beerus 10.000.000.000 / Whiss 25.000.000.000 / Yamcha 0,5 for example. Considering the actual parameter we should be in the trillions, no?
