You've answered your own question! Change doesn't happen from remaining complicit. Just because something is shitty today doesn't mean it has to be shitty tomorrow.
I mean, yeah, obviously Toei isn't reading GAF for criticism of their products, but that doesn't suddenly make it an invalid topic of discussion.
It's non valid because you are directly judging the anime's quality based off their TV broadcast in Japan.
Except that Toei airs unfinished episodes. Making any judgement on the quality impossible.
This is how japanimation works :
The small hands do most of the drawings in a very short time, then the key animators and the more trained drawing artists fix the chara design and key frames.
Depending on the team and budget of one episode, the small hands are better / the key animators have more time.
What never changes is that they still air the episodes before they are completed, whether they are almost done (episode 10) or 20% done (episode 5) .
I am not excusing Dragon Ball Super for looking shit most of the time, I am saying that I have gone through this with Toei's recent anime, and it makes it hard to judge the japanese TV broadcast.
Especially when we are not supposed to see it (and I'm assuming this is WHY).
The episodes will be fixed, to some extent, us saying that it looks like shit doesn't add anything. They already know and as you said it's not like they are reading GAF.
I see that one comment saying that you are getting sadder and sadder every week. Well stop watching and wait for the finished version then .... You either can't stop yourself from watching because you care about the story development, or you can wait for a proper dub / finished edition.
They won't change anything on the way they make their animes.
Hell if anything, we should be glad they decide to finish the episodes for bluray and international versions.
What else can I say ?
