Goku now drops out of SSB and THEN he gets shot.

He lets his guard down.
Some other changes involve Vegeta being the one now to notice Freeza's weakness, Freeza has the upper hand a lot more than he did in the movie and Bulma/Jaco continue to be annoying.

The non-bolded stuff sound like improvements to me. The bolded sucks though. The movie made me love Jaco but in the TV he sucks. Also why won't they ever let Bulma not be an annoying twat. They've made her suck for so long

Also a shame that these episodes continue to look like ass. In an alternate universe, this would be as well animated as One Punch Man.

Yeah that scene was good. Then the second half of the episode reverted to beam spam and bad art.

Far as i can tell, it's like 4-5 months after frieza makes his wish.
So timeline thus far:
Goku and friends wish for super saiyan god information
>6 Months cooldown period which includes Goku and Vegeta beginning Whis Training, and pan's birth
>Frieza Revival wish
4 or so months pass where frieza and the saiyans train
Dragonballs are still on cooldown, so Piccolo needs namek balls to revive.

Videl wasn't obviously pregnant during that first wish meaning she was in the first few months, so pan can't be more than like 5-7 months old right now, assuming i didn't miss anything.

I just got done watching the full fight (very well done) and yeah. Later on Supreme Kai even asks "Where are those shockwaves?" and the Old Kai replies with the fact they're brawling now.
