it's the video game industry. Do you expect these guys to stay in one place for 60 years and then cash out a pension?

Any word on Alt-F1 yet? I need my speedy race cars dammit.
Pretty soon Giantbomb West is just going to be Jeff streaming Commodore 64 games from his living room.
Not really...I mean that's pretty much what it is now + the podcast.

Almost certainly won't be a CBS-hosted podcast anymore, which means it will be harder for them to grow it and secure advertising. Which is not great for the cast's future
Might not even be called Alt-F1 anymore.

To be fair, I find those videos cozy as fuck.
They don't run that site like the rest of the industry, though.
Jeff (wisely) knew it was the personalities more than it was the coverage, in particular. Given the the fact that the bench is already thin, I figured that a mainstay would be compensated better than most in the industry on GB.
That may have nothing to do with why he decided to leave, of course. He just may want to move on.

i feel like its because drew wanted to produce more content like the stuff he did in iceland but that stuff is expensive and cbs probably didnt want to fund stuff like that. but also they probably don't get a whole lot of views to justify their cost.
