Famitsu gave it 7/6/6/6. Eurogamer gives it 2/10 and their reader average is 4.8/10. GameFAQs has 2 reviews; 4/10 and 5/10.
Rainbow Islands Revolution didn't fare too well either, and that one isn't even going to make it over here
Apparantly they just completely ****ed with the gameplay. Avoid like the plague.

Im thinking of chosing between:
Mario Kart
Castlevania
Sonic Rush

DMczaf said:Sure, how about you send me an extra $35 and I'll do that!
Castlevania is better than Mario Kart, but the next DS Castlevania will probably be better than the first one (if for no other reason that they're cutting out the tacked-on stylus usage), whereas Mario Kart games only come out once per system.DMczaf said:I just got my DS Lite yesterday. nyong said:1 Tetris - I don't know how they did it but they neutered my favorite puzzler. The graphics and NES stuff going on in the background is cool enough but OMG why did they tamper with the gameplay. It just "feels" wrong, hard to explain...the bricks are floatier and the infinite spins once it touches down is a BAD BAD idea!!!! The "touch" mode totally feels tacked on.
2. Brain Age - Blue BLUE BLUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEE!!!! Sorry, the game's broken. Unless I, and everyone else I know who's tried it, has a speak impediment, something is wrong with this game. The handwriting decoder, or whatever, has issues too. Unless you draw out the number/letter EXACTLY as they expect you too (for instance, to draw a "7" I have to start in the upper left and work my way down, otherwise no-go) it won't register. Gets frustrating when trying to take the timed Math test. Sorry Nintendo, sound idea but better luck with the execution next time. Only redeeming quality is that it introduced me to Sudoki. I am so buying Sudoki Generations.
Every Tetris except the original has had infinite spin, and all competitive Tetris does. It's necessary in order to have successful high level play.
Touch mode is tacked on, but it's only one of six gameplay modes and you can ignore it and still play the other ones.
Maximilian said:I disagree with Demi about Trauma Center.
nyong said:Sorry, I should have been clearer. By infinite spin I mean that once your piece touches the ground you can keep spinning it indefinately, all while planning your next move. Once the piece touches the ground, it should stop...time isn't nearly as much a factor anymore...just get the piece ballpark where it should be and keep spinning until it fits the hole. Of course I haven't played Tetris since the DX days so maybe this is a feature that's been around awhile.
