E3 2016: Capcom GAF it's time to place your bets

Breath of Fire 6 port for Vita and N3DS for maximum hilarity.

No kidding, I'm betting for realz. More likely for TGS though.

Based on my realistic expectations:

Dragon's Dogma Online gets a US release in the fall
Deep Down announced as having PS4K version and a closed beta worldwide in early 2017
Street Fighter V Season 2 characters teased
Resident Evil 2 HD remake will have its first trailer
DmC 2 gets a first trailer

I thought you said "realistic".

After the way SFV launched.... I'm really not expecting much. The only glimmer of hope is whatever Capcom Vancouver is working on- but I have a feeling that's not far enough along to reveal yet.

So basically I'm betting more Monster Hunter, disappointing Resident Evil games, and Deep Down 4k.

DmC2

Resident Evil: Revelations 3 or Resident Evil 7

Monster Hunter

Deep Down shown for PS4K

hopefully a new IP that's a JRPG

SFV support

My realistic yet slightly optimistic prediction:
- Resident Evil 7 announced
- Street Fighter V upcoming content detailed more
- Ace Attorney 6 localization confirmation
- Resident Evil 2 Remake premier
- Something from Capcom Vancouver (probably Dead Rising for PS4, XBO, and PC)

Devil May Cry and future of Monster Hunter are left for TGS.

You are going to be dissapointed.

No DMC

No clear support for SFV past 2016

No RE7

No new IPs

I'm gonna go with the opposite of what you said lol

DMC 5
New Resident Evil
Character teaser for SF V and confirmation of Season 2
A trailer of a new IP (if Deep Down counts, that's my pick)

B E L I E V E

In my dreams Capcom jumps on the JRPG bandwagon (following FFXV, Star Ocean, and Persona 5) and releases a new console Breath of Fire.

But it won't happen.

A very short teaser for RE7 just for the 20th anniversary's sake.
Trailer for some new features in Street Fighter V and maybe an announcement of "more coming in 2017 for season 2" but, set no expectations for what they'll do.
A collection of old games for PS4/X1/NX. Probably Mega Man titles
Either Deep Down resurfaces or a new DMC/DmC title.

I can't tell if you guys are serious or trolling with DmC 2 posts.

Regardless of how anyone feels about it, that game bombed hard, resulting in Capcom releasing two apology editions for DMC fans. I don't think Capcom would take such risk again.

My prediction as well.

I'll just go way out on a limb and hopelessly suggest they're working on a collab with Nintendo (like they did with Minish Cap) that'll surprise everyone.

Project X Zone Fighter for NX (developed by 8ing)
Resident Evil 7 announced
REmake 2 footage, VR support announced not shown.
SFV season 2 dlc tease
Clock Tower VR (digital & episodic)
Deep Down beta announced & new footage
Blue Castle's new project
Monster Hunter X 3DS
Monster Hunter NX (remake of previous title)
Mega Man mobile something

IIRC they started rolling out AA5 localization news circa May 2013, presumably because it's not as flashy an E3 game. Wonder if they'll do the same this year.

Yeah, I'm actually expecting pre-E3 media on Ace Attorney 6 just like they did with AA5. It's a suitable kind of game to release media in that way, before the deluge of news within E3.

No hope tbh
Maybe DD finally and some more SFV news

Give me Monster Hunter on NX and i don't care what else you do Capcom

Definitely think we'll see a new trailer for Deep Down and get more information on it.

And hopefully a DMC5 teaser or trailer and an RE7 trailer. Come on Capcom, I don't want my dreams to be dreams anymore. I NEED DMC5!!

When I give the signal... we hop aboard the DMC5 hype train!

Im pretty certain that if you expecting a season pass 2 like Killer instinct, you are going to be disappointed.

They may have costume DLC in 2017 and a rebalance but I dont see them having a roadmap of content drops every month. That would require long term faith and commitment in the product, which is not Capcoms forte.

Come this time next year, Capcoms focus will have changed and then they will be invested in themed attractions outside of gaming that use their IP.

Or some next stupid story.

I'm calling it.

Megaman Legends 3

Multiplatform, either announced at Nintendo's or Sony's press conference.

BOOM

Handheld or console? Even back then the Legends series has had poor sales. I don't see it fairing well to justify the costs into making a console title.

Capcom's still broke. Not really expecting anything other than more HD ports. Best case scenario we'll see the resurgence of Deep Down and long rumored Resident Evil 7.

I'm expecting
Trailers for Monster Hunter Generations, Ace Attorney 6, Umbrella Corps, new SFV DLC
Monster Hunter Stories announced for NX
Resident Evil 7 announced (aiming for a Fall 2017 release, going to guess it'll be at Microsoft's conference)
Deep Down returns

RE2 remake saved for Gamescom
DMC5 probably for TGS (for Q1 2017 release)
At earliest, Mega Man is at TGS to tie in with a TV series blowout
Dragon's Dogma Online stays in Asia

The new Megaman toon comes out in 2017. I will bet anything that there'll be a tie-in game.

If it's going to be a QUALITY tie-in game is another discussion.

More than likely:

Resident Evil 7
Devil May Cry 5
Street Fighter V (promote story mode, maybe actually put in an arcade and vs. CPU mode, season 2 DLC tease, etc)
Phoenix Wright 6

Has a chance:

Deep Down for PS4K

In my dreams:

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 backwards compatible (360) for Xbone
Marvel vs. Capcom 4 for PS4/Xbone/PC
