Story is the primary factor for any game to me. And i really thought Demon's had a weak story, but at least the gameplay was good. And all 3 Souls games are still better than 90% of anything out there in the market.

I can already imagine the different attack combos you can perform with the new combat system.Bloodborne details:
Think this is new stuff
Towns folk stalk the game world killing those who have turned into the warewolf style enemies
Also means you can no longer memorise their locations with the world
Killing enemies causes blood to splatter on the protagonist which seemingly restores health, however absorb too much and you become more difficult to control
Shotgun can be used while your stamina recharges
Sword weapon has secondary attack when folded which can break enemies shield
Game looks really good in the screens some concerns about the frame rate though, well we saw that in the leaked video to be fair.
Btw there's screens I haven't seen before and some artwork as well this info is from a hands on.

Fairly close to my own opinion!
I'd agree on every point except PVP combat. Since movement and combat in general don't feel as good in DS2 that carries over to the multiplayer aspects for me. The weight of weapons feels wrong, the way characters move feels less fluid, the animations aren't as good... I should in full disclosure share that I played years of DS and stopped playing DS2 after a couple of months though. I guess for a lot of people just cutting down on hackers and having dedicated servers would count for more than the core feel of the movement and combat in Dark Souls being way better.
So in short, Demon's Souls for immersion, story and world, Dark Souls for endlessly replayable multiplayer both co-op and pvp, and Dark Souls 2 for a game that feels like a huge team of people with a big budget trying to make a game that copies the feel and mechanics of the other souls games. Which still results in a good game, just the weakest of the three.

In my opinion of course
Exactly how I feel.
I prefer Dark 1 over Demon's, but, that said, your statement about Dark 2 echoes what I have frequently said of it: It *feels* as though someone was brought in and told to look at the first game and make a sequel, as opposed to being a game made utterly from someone's pure artistic vision like the prior games. As a result you get a game that has incremental improvements in certain areas (like the beautiful cloth physics and mostly nicer animations) but overall lacks the soul and authenticity of the others.

I only gave it 1 up on Demon's in level design because of the winding nature we see in Dark Souls started in Demons. Dark Souls 1 just took it one step further by adding a fully connected world.
Olde English style.

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned already but how will Bloodborne handle suspend/resume? The DS games are (in)famous for not having any sort of "pause" so how do you think From will address this ability on the PS4?
It's 'worded weirdly' probably because a gaffer translated the whole interview himself and I don't believe this person/assistant will be credited down the line if he wasn't now when he was specifically asked about it. If there really was a second director we would know at this point really. Why are you so hellbent on the idea of a second director when it doesn't make sense to have him in the shadows, giving this person no credit for being in this supposedly director role besides Miya?
In any case, from what I've read Miyazaki is pretty much the sole creative force in this really, so I don't think it matters anyway.
Demon Souls > Dark Souls >>> Dark souls 2

Game is gonna be glorious.
I know I am in a total minority here, but I hope From takes a break from their billion-selling Souls series and builds a proper new Armored Core game for PS4 or something.

Just to clarify, From has several people at "director level" (nothing really weird about that translation) and they shift around depending on the project. Miyazaki is indeed the creative director on Bloodborne, and this other person is going to get credited somewhere depending on where he contributed the most. Tanimura's probably still on DS2 DLC, and I doubt it's Shibuya. Maybe Hamatani? I seem to remember him having some involvement in the Souls games.
In any case, I think your wording with the bolded is a bit obscene, considering there are many talented people on this project and others at From. It's nice to have Miyazaki back in the spotlight, and he gives great interviews, but he's not the be-all-end-all of these games.
I agree, saying he's the sole creative force was a bit too much. There's a lot of talented people at FROM that surely have a lot of say in the making of the game, like in any other game development team. Ultimately, I didn't intend to make out Miya as the be-all-end-all with my former statement, rather what I wanted to say is that Bloodborne comes of as Miyazaki's vision from what I've read and that he gets the last say in this as a director.

Settings->Quit Game is DS' 'pause'.

Skippy on GRcade was kind enough to supply the next month's preview image, and I have no idea.
I think it's Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. if you watch the E3 trailer you can see the logo at the end.
