Wait is Judi Dench in this movie? Or was she just around filming something else (considering her outfit)?

I don't really know anything about this movie so Dench being in it would be a nice surprise.

Gonna guess that she's in whatever Daisy and Josh are working on currently.

Yes, she's replacing John Boyega in the role of Finn.

Man. I can't say I'm an expert on Stormtrooper design because I can't tell what's different about them :p

Also confirmed today that Johnson and Kennedy will be at Celebration. Yay!

There might be other slight chances but the nose does seem to be a lot more angular now, where before it was a lot more rounder.

Yeah, it's the "mouth."

They come to points at the corners again, instead of being even all the way across. Looks like they flared the edges of the "duckbill" to form the shape.

Think this one was obvious, but Johson confirmed Celebration is going to be a blowout of info for the film.

Man, I really want to go but I'd only really go for the panels and from what I hear, the lines are incredibly long and I'd have to be there pretty much all day.

Yeah we'll probably get the first teaser there and a poster.

I'm going to have to wait in line for hours for that panel. It's going to be absolutely exhausting but worth it.

But I've yet to regret doing so. All the Celebration panels I've been to have been awesome.

love the slight redesign! will be in florida a month before celebration i wish the dates lined up. cant wait for all the info that will come from celebration

Jason at MakingStarWars was tweeting today that he's seen some stuff from this movie, and described the aesthetic as something like "The Phantom Menace and Game of Thrones went on a date"

I guess when they hop planets in this movie, the planets are going to be some pretty interesting twists/tweaks on things you've seen before.

Hunger Games-y
Phantom Menace-y
Winterfell-ish.

But all mixed up & Star Wars-ified.

That's the impression I'm getting.

Going by what disney seems to be setting up with rebels in season 3 I really think that the end game of the sequel trilogy is no more jedi and no more sith but only enlightened grey force users will remain.

I don't know how I really feel about this direction, I have always kinda disliked the concept of grey jedi because it comes hand in hand with the concept of a light side which makes the force a lot less nuanced and interesting.

Nah the prequels had beautiful set design etc. Shame about the rest.
TPM was full of visual pageantry, to an almost distracting degree. I guess given how much I enjoyed TFA I shouldn't worry about one super ambiguous description. A lot of the same creative people who helped TFA's understated aesthetic work so well are bound to be working on TLJ.
