Does your single player progress transfer? At least the collectables?
Gating this content off for new players makes no sense. Some people didn't buy your game last gen because they weren't sold on your game, Rockstar. Sweeten the pot for everyone, and you might catch some new players. This is what every sensible publisher does with a re-release.
People won't return simply because you made this content exclusive to them: just putting these extras in the game catches any fence sitters who would be swayed into double-dipping. But as a new player, I think I'll wait for a price drop. Because after GTA4, I'm not a huge fan of the franchise, and though I was planning to pick this up day 1, I'll happily hold off for a price drop, if I even bother in a few months.
Knowing this standard re-release content will be on the disc, and I'll be locked out because I didn't play the game twice does not sit well with me as a consumer.
True.PC version will somehow get an unlocker, I'm sure. Replace files with some other files and boom unlocked.
Again you don't know if someone just borrowed a friend's copy and played the story. I would stop using the 120 dollars argument.OK? So now you get to play the game in all the wonderful ways that your PC and modding community will allow you? I still don't see the point in being bitter because people that are spending $120 are getting extra; they should.
Dodo better be as hard to fly as in GTA3
PC users will hack these back into the game so fast. I wouldn't worry about that...
GTA Online sucks balls at its core. Heists won't change that. I'd love some single player heist DLC though. Any kind of major story based DLC would be sweet. It's a shame it doesn't look like this game is going to get anything on the scale of TLAD or TBOGT.
I know, people say how about you reward me for double dipping when companies don't do anything, and when they do people say it doesn't sit right with them.
They really can't win whatever they do.
I understand they are not being bitter for that reason, but because they can't get it even if they're willing to pay for it. Understandable. GTA fan does not equate to console fan.OK? I don't think so. As long as it's not the GTA Online stuff.Wonder if mods like this would cause a VAC ban?
These new screenshots are 1080p you guys....

This is true.
You really can't see it's a harder pillow to swallow to go out a re-purchase a game that is basically the same with improvements, than first timers?
None of these things are things the game needs. It's already overloaded with stuff, that it's barely a footnote. To me this just reads like bland entitlement. You don't need to have everything.

Darn, didn't play on 360/PS3 waiting for next-gen. Some of them look really cool :x
Still no official resolution announcements?
While I would have to disagree with it "sucking balls" as I do really enjoy it with my crew of friend still to this day. I will agree and say that for those people that didn't like the online that I really can't see the heists changing their views.
I guess something must of seriously and fundamentally been wrong with the heists for them still not of been added. The only thing I can guess is that they will release something down the line in a big pack with the single player DLC they announced. (they never announced the details of the single player DLC, just that they were working on something)
Man the graphics on this look crazy, the DOF is really well done.
I don't agree
Ctrl+F Heists
Nope.
Lol Rockstar.

I really don't understand this line of thinking.

Are single player game saves transferable too? I don't want to have to plod through the story and collect all the stars/jiggies/bigfoots again.
Those screens also look 60fps...
So they're gating off a bunch of content to people who didn't buy the 360/PS3 version?
Do we know if single-player story DLCs are still on the cards? At this point, I lost hope one will be included with the remaster, but if I know they are still coming down the line, I'd be very tempted to pick up that new version. Otherwise, I'm not sure I want to only replay the story with prettier graphics right now... (multiplayer didn't grab me at all)
Looking forward to flying the Dodo for reals. I could never quite make it across the river in 3.

I know, how terrible, now you have only the entire rest of the game you haven't payed yet and not the <5% new trinkets people who spent twice as much as you get. THE HORROR.
hatchet seems nice
also murder mystery. can someone buy me a ps4? will trade nudes.
Single player DLC has only been in passing mention... sort of a "We'll reveal some new additions for single player soon" in the GTA Online posts they make.
GTAV Story Mode Updates. For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.
During a briefing conference call with investors, it also noted “extensive” story driven DLC for GTA 5, with more details expected soon.
