No one can say SFxT netcode is good. It's pretty terrible, almost every single match even with those in close proximity to me has this awful slowdown. Even simple combos are hard.

I need to actually start playing fighting games again, I haven't played in so long due to homework and trying to clear out my backlog a bit for Four in February. I might play a little SFxT tonight to try it out later tonight.

Also, I'm totally going to listen to the Jaxel Power Hour later because Jaxel's rants are not only entertaining but definitely have a lot of good information in them.

Also Yipes's Hawkeye is SICK.

I play on the 360 and I think the netcode is pretty good compared to other capcom games. Much better than AE2012.

Maybe I'll stream and show what I'm talking about. I have an excellent connection with AE 2012 and P4A, but SFxT feels like I'm wading through mud. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone who has to rely on netcode to play.

I don't think SFxTekken netcode is very good to be honest. Marvel and AE especially are better.

I get some good matches, but alot of times I am teleporting around and playing underwater to some degree.

SFxT netcode is much better than Marvel and slightly better than AE IF you have a good connection and play people with good connections. Bad connections in SFxT turn the game into teleport shit. AE input delay is really annoying if you play offline and Marvel is straight up not the same game online.

That's weird, I'm really picky about online and SFxT on XBL has been great for me.

I don't subscribe to the bullshit philosophy of "snitches get stitches." This isn't grade school.

Professor Snitch.

You're right. This isn't "grade school." It's "real life" and people sometimes don't even get stitches for snitchin'. (The ones that do are considered lucky)

Who did you guys main in Brawl? For the 15 minutes that you guys played it

I'll agree with this. I have had better sfxt matches but the teleporting I find much worse when it goes wrong.

Herein lies SFxT's weakness. It doesn't give players the option to choose traditional lag versus GGPO's ocassional teleports like Skullgirls does. A great GGPO implementation gives no damn about terrible connections unless you are downloading HD Japanese porn, though. Mike Z routinely recommends to people that they should just go with 0-2 delay even against Japanese players and he doesn't worry about playing Portal 2 like you might on SFxT.

Capcom has a ways to go even if they are more forward thinking than before.

On average, and against the same local people I usually play with, SF4 and SFxT are much more stable than Mahvel. Seriously, Marvel has these bouts of underwater gameplay that come and go throughout the session and it frustrates me to no end.

You guys are all fucked in the head. Chicken Tikka as a curry WTF.

East Indian > West Indian > all other curries.

Not Chicken Tikka. Chicken Tikka Masala.

Chicken tikka masala with Naan bread (preferably buttered, but regular is good as well) might be the best dish ever produced in the entirety of human civilization.

Too bad I'm currently on a diet, gotta lose those kgs.

I think I have to agree with this.

I used to play with an Australian guy I knew on Brawl and I'm in Canada

"This is gonna look like every El Futere match...I'm gonna do the bodysplash, and then I'm gonna do the grab that looks like the bodysplash"

Man, they really need to have custom soundtracks when playing FT10 games from now on.

Edit; I don't know why but Soldier Boy coming on in the middle of the Neo vs. Clockwerk was amazing.
