I played the "unofficially aviable" demo and I really like how the game feels. The exploration is quite similar to FF XIII but the combat is something enitrely new. There's switching between characters, and the combination of real time action for attacks and pause-menu for spells and potions with the ability to assign them to shortcuts to avoid using the pause menu are really nice. Maybe this is what Versus XIII would've played like if they didn't redo it a thousand times and sticked with those awesome ideas they've shown when the game was still a PS3-only title.
