The issue stems from the fact that you're looking to compare this game to something, don't. While the game does have, as far as we know, a linear structure (plot and narrative wise) so does nearly every FF game. The dungeons themselves seem to lean more towards FFX, I agree, but Advent Children? Did you watch Advent Children? What makes you think this has any of AC in it?

Also, I'm not attempting to attack you, I'm just curious.

When I say Advent Children I'm purely refering to the look of it , it's Tetsuya nomura left completly off the leash again. Belts, zippers, characters "launching" enemies in the air for extreme camera angle kung fu and such. To use an obnoxious critic trope- "it's like final fantasy... ON CRACK". So that's basically what I was refering too.. in fact really, even the CG cutscenes released so far feature the same directorial style. I know Nomura didn't do the cutscenes in the game but whoever did surely took a page from advent childrens 'style'.

I'm also not saying there is anything WRONG with that. Just calling it like I see it.

All the official media, even the English stuff has been from the PS3 version.

Well, the PS3 version is probably done. All they have to do is finish the 360 version and last time we heard about the 360 version, it was 70% done I believe.

We also know it will be on 4 Disks too don't we? 2 maybe 3 purely for cutscenes if they are prerendered which I'm assuming they are.
