I'm inclined to just put one of them away in storage, just uses up unnecessary space otherwise. It's too bad, cus both of the cases are nice (apart from that ugly green USK sticker that always ends up on the limited editions of these boxes).
I only have 2 - this one and Omega Ruby, so even if I had the space it's not enough to warrant a dedicated shelf lol. Guess it's nice to have but like the poster, will probably just keep it packed away so it remains in decent condition

Since I said I'd update on the status of my Thalia order: Same as the two other guys that reported in, it was cancelled (well, it wasn't actually cancelled, but it won't be fulfilled either).
I suspect that the same happened with everyone's order there. Not surprised.
On the other hand, my MediaMarkt order arrived at the store today and I just came back from picking it up. Amazon also delivered both normal versions of the game, my parents ordered the Fire Emblem n3DSXL for my birthday and the faceplates should be ready for pick up at my Saturn store in a few days. I'm happy!

I don't even use cases, I have a 3DS game holder. Both cases are just getting thrown out probably.

And it arrived! The box had a massive hole and was badly crushed but luckily the poor packing method used actually saved anything inside from being damaged. Now.... Birthright or Conquest first....
Conquest is supposed to be the better game, think I'm going to get Birthright out the way first..

You get one with the Official UK store one too. I have no idea about Amazon though.
I ordered from amazon.fr but yeah, I got one in a separate email, was sent yesterday. Maybe check your spam folder and all that but I've had an issue like that with another code from Amazon before. I contacted their CS then. They said they had sent it which didn't seem to be true, but sending it again wasn't a problem or anything.

I've been told there won't be a third shipment at all, when it's gone it's gone for good.
Nintendo rep said the same thing, basically this was available onky because of how quickly the 1st round of preorders sold out and how far in the future the actual release still was which gave 'em room to order more copies of the SE, which won't be feasible from this point on.

Just a regular copy, but seeing how there were roughly 6 copies available in my city, I consider myself lucky.
I expected the normal games to be widely available, but the store where I got my copy from only had two copies, and no special editions at all.
Feel kind of bad for the people that missed out. I was lucky it was quiet at work this morning so I could get it during my morning break.

E-mail for the 3DS Home Menu Theme came in at 18:00 BST so hopefully everyone else should get theirs now as well!

Local stores (Media Markt, Saturn, Medimax) did not get any copy at all. We hope the preorder @ Amazon will work when they ship (they say on June 15th) *fingers crossed*
Actually: My Thalia order is still active.

I emailed the Nintendo store at 5:49pm asking about the codes.
At 6:00pm they sent the codes.
Coincidence? ...yeah probably.
Downloaded it and bought the other 2 as well.

After you choose a side (chapter 6) you get access to the Dragon Gate where you can download and play the DLC maps.

My LE copy arrived this morning so I was pretty happy as I probably wouldn't have been able to pick it up until Tuesday if I hadn't got it today. Annoyingly, the game box was wide open when I opened the GAME package but all the contents were there and everything was still individually sealed so I won't be seeking a replacement. I'm just glad this saga is over and I can finally enjoy this bloody game.

I went by the store today, the clerk at the counter said she sees my order in the database, but they have no record of the actual special edition in the store system.
Not sure what that means. Guess in the end they just accepted pre-orders for an article that they do not even stock.
The clerk was awesome though, we talked about the game for 10min, completely halting traffic at her counter, haha.
Hope she does not snag the Special Edition for herself if they still get it...
My local MediMax had my pre-ordered copy as promised though, kinda impressed with the clerk, he just had a post-it with my name from when I went there back in March but immediately remembered my order there.
He was on lunch break when I showed up, so I spent 6 very long minutes staring at the game on the shelf behind his counter, knowing it just lies there... waiting for me...
My Saturn order was in delivery today but the postman never showed up, because he is a complete asshat and loves to skip our street as we are last on his route. I hope he gets a horrible rash.
The local Media Markt didn't confirm that my order is ready for pick-up yet, but I have a shipping confirmation that the game is being sent to the store - so I should be able to pick it up tomorrow hopefully from there or the post office, where the most horrible postman in the universe should just have left the stuff in the first place instead of putting it on his truck to drive it around town for no reason.

If you mean the LE box itself, that's how they are from new, generally - they don't come individually sealed. Unless you meant the box had worked it's way open and spilled the contents out in the package...

I mentioned it a few times here, but no one bit.
I actually had 6 orders, but since no one here showed interest, I ended up cancelling two that were sure not to arrive on the 20th.I actually shipped the MediMax order off to another Gaffer here today, I have a colleague at work who might buy the second one off me and cancel their amazon order instead, because he has one of those second shipment orders that won't arrive before June. Leaves one for me!
Thalia is still up in the air. I'll celebrate in here if that one goes through though ... 65 EUR. o_o
I'll happily sell my other order at original price if that works out.
If our postman wasn't a prick, I'd be playing right now.

The game and steelbook had worked their way out of the LE box at some point during transit. Nothing was damaged though so it's not a big deal. The actual package was still sealed.

Got my special edition. Really sad thing is that there wass another guy there too asking if there were more special editions in stock because he only got the normal version, but then I came in and claimed my special edition preorder.
I don't have the theme code from Amazon yet.
But pretty neat they did the price match after all. Makes me feel a bit less bitter about it arriving one day after release.
