Grabbed my German LE copy from the local electronics storeCan't wait to put it into my 3DS and ride together again!
Gotta say though, my mainreason to get the LE was to have all content on one gamecard. The LE itself is rather standard-fare, I don't really care about posters and the steelbox is nice, but will not be used. Would've prefered an OST.
But I like that Nintendo keeps the sizes and format of their mini-artbooks consistent, I probably could at this point take all their artbooks of the last few years and sort them neatly on the shelves (and probably will do so after rearranging my room soon).
Exactly the same. I wanted all the three paths in a same Game cartridge.
The LE is fine, it isnt anything spectacular but hey.

This right here illustrates what an absolute disaster area this limited edition release has been, if people are able to pick up a copy right now today from their local store, when people who put a lot of effort into trying to reserve a copy online are relegated to the June second shipment.

I feel the pain, which is why I only go "local store" for regional LE releases when possible. When I put up my preorder, the clerk actually was able to inform me -I was the second person to preorder it at that store like ... 5-6 weeks ago I think. He told me they probably get only 2-3 copies of the LE at first so I would get one for sure but they will also get a second shipment for people preordering later. That sort of info helps a lot to spread out preorders in cases when you're not sure one store will have your copy ready.
Isn't it normally the case that bundles are cheaper than buying things individually though? It's when it's the other way round that it's weird.

Never said it was weird, just pointing it out.
Though worth noting that Smash has bundles that are the same price as everything seperately, to the penny. Nintendo are very inconsistent with DLC when it comes to pricing and bundles, and I would wager that's because this gen has been their learning curve about what does and doesn't work.

Nope but I imagine it'll be sent at around the time the Theme Store updates which I think is 2pm UK, in line with Thursday's eshop update.
Mines came in today too. I even opened it up to check all the goodies. All very nice. Didnt know about the game being in one single package though:

Unless it's being done by Parcelforce I'm not getting mine today, regular post is normally always done by now.
Today I am expecting the special edition from MediaMarkt Spain (I did not have much faith in this preorder but it is in delivery process). I also bought both regular editions and the 3DS faceplate from amazon.es and these are also being delivered today.
And I have another preorder for the special in another outlet which I just created this week because it was really cheap but I do not think this will go thorugh.
All in all an expensive game release!

What do you guys plan to do with the empty case (either the Steelbook or regular plastic one) as I have no clue what to do with it. I wish we'd have just got one, don't get the logic in giving you two cases for one card.
This is what I dont understand either with the steelcase. I had the same thing with the Star Fox Zero steelcase. I guess it looks cool sitting on a shelf by itself?

Nice got mine from Media Markt today. I was so certain it's not gonna go through but it even arrived on time! Pretty neat the whole set, although I basically only got it to have all three versions on one cart.
So Thalia.de just put my order status on "completed" and on further inspection it now says "can't deliver". So they did exactly as one here a few pages ago predicted. That's disappointing and communication-wise just bad service imo. Cancelling your order on release day without a precise message and be just like *shrug* gets you no good rep with me.
Luckily i forgot, i also had a "emergency"-pre-order placed with MediaMarkt. They became really reliable with preorder-LE's in the last few years and so i can get my LE there, although for 15 more than i was hoping -.-
