This was such an obscure specialist fan fiction of a request that I am amazed they went through with it. Not as excited as I would have been about a real Fire Emblem, as I think I've had my fill of Musou after Hyrule Warriors, but let's see where it goes.

Aren't Fire Emblem and Musou wholly antithetical to eachother?
I mean, the former is sort of a series built around tight teamwork where the slightest mistake means instant death in countless possible ways.
Meh for this the same way I'm meh about Fate/Extella. Too many Musou genre games based off IPs that just don't make sense for it.

It's the same appeal for every crossover with it. You get to play as your favorite characters (some you never get to play as) and use their signature moves to beat up tons of enemies in ways you never could in their proper games.The only way it doesn't make sense is if there isn't a large cast of characters to use, and Fire Emblem isn't lacking in candidates.
I'd be genuinely shocked if we didn't see every "main" character, especially one who made it into Smash. I'm also betting on Tharja

Really hoping for some characters from the older games. Hector, Lyndis, Eliwood, Roy, Ike, Lief, Sigurd etc. Maybe even some less well-known characters like Nephenee or Gonzales.
Won't be surprised if it's all Awakening/Fates characters though. I'll buy either way
