It's fucking retarted.
vocab said:Just played 4 chapters in a row. No freezing, no abnormal performance issues, and it's the same game I have been playing since I got a PS3. This is definitely a Slim/3.0 compatibility issue.
Loudninja said:No its not.
Sorry to hear that a clean save game didnt work either :\ Then it doesnt sound like a corrupt save game was the problem.JoeFenix said:I just reformated my HDD and started a totaly clean save file, played up to the U-boat and crash. Something happened with 3.0 that messes up the game for alot of people. I keep hearing reports of other games crashing for people after 3.0 (wipeout, demon's souls).
They better release a fix and QUICK! This shit is not acceptable.
From what i can tell it seems to be some kind of random problem. Some people have no problems while others have problems. The people who have problems with some PS3 games have at least one thing in common and that is that they got the problems after installing firmware 3.0, so it is most likely some problems with the firmware 3.0 and i dont think that everyone that have problems got a PS3 Slim as Loudninja mentioned below me here, so i would guess that the problem is within the firmware 3.0 itself.vocab said:Then you tell me. It's working fine for me. I don't have a slim, and I have 3.0.

Animal said:I just did 7 through 11 on a slim and no crash. Though their was a sound bug that came up right after getting on the sea-doo for the second time. The sea-doo sound at full throttle wouldn't stop even if i was completely stopped. I don't think this has anything to do with 3.0.
Animal said:I take it back, I left it on pause for about an hour, played a big gun fight scene and it froze while i was mopping up the place for ammo. I don't think it has anything to do with how long you play, you just got to hit the right conditions to trigger the bug. Anyone have any guesses as to what it might be?

It's almost certainly adding new fields to existing tables.Ranger X said:Well, it's a deduction on my part. I can't really figure out what "rebuilding database" could be...
MidgarBlowedUp said:If you guys think your having problems now just wait until the next firmware update on 9/9/09. That's when your PS3 turns into a Dreamcast and stops playing PS3 games all together.
Phreak47 said:Please stop spreading around this ridiculous rumor that people think they're having problems.
Onix said:huh?
That would be cool, but could ND fix this though? Seeing that some people have problems with other games as well, such as Wipeout HD for example, i would guess that the problems are because of the firmware 3.0, and i think that only Sony can fix this (unless there is a possibility for Naughty Dog to make a patch that make Uncharted fully compatible with this version of firmware 3.0Violater said:ND to the rescue in 3... 2..... 1.....
If it crashes every 2 matches, does that mean that you can play one match and then the next match crashes? If so, i dont know if i would say that the game is complete unplayable. Maybe i am taking what you are saying a bit too litterally thoughukresistance said:Playstation 3 80GB UK
Battlefield 1943 is completely unplayable!

And i think that it is a pity to hear that you have problems with Battlefield 1943
EDIT: I just tried to play some Battlefield 1943, and it seems to work fine so far on my PS3. I cant really play too much now though since i need to go to bed, but the game works fine so far at least. I have a Playstation 3 60GB european version though, but my sister has an 80GB version. I can ask her tomorrow to try Battlefield 1943 to see if it crashes for her as well.
Morts said:No word from Sony or Naughty Dog yet?
Oh god, please no! I'm gonna try tonight, since I've been playing Bad Company getting some single player trophies. I hope to god it's working...ukresistance said:Playstation 3 80GB UK
