I think the information board is the coolest feature if they are really going to update it with interesting news and links to good articles.

they want to sell shit on psn firstKittonwy said:Oh ffs Sony, just put in-game xmb access in already, srsly wtf, low hanging fruit or not, this is THE priority instead of some fucking media-file tweak. I need to be able to send a message even when I'm in a game to a friend who's playing another game to get the FUCK off his game to play me online rawr. Right now the current set-up is like playing phone-tag.![]()

Yep. A good chance. I don't think they want to fuck with people's downloads tomorrow by requiring the update right before the store stuff hits.Dante said:I tried to read some of the responses to see if the OP responded, and it's worse then Gamefaqs.
Anyways any chance this goes up at midnight?
That wouldn't work quite as well as you envision it. It's already hard enough to browse through the 650 songs on my PS3 hard drive. I couldn't imagine browsing through a PSstore with thousands of items in it.kenta said:Imagine how nice it would be to browse PS Store content like you browse the video/music/photo collection on your hard drive, with everything integrated right into the XMB. Instant (and coherent) organization, slick, smooth, no web pages to load or images to break, it would be very nice

yea i'm hoping that that is what happensMaggot9 said:It would be cool if we could get the XMB just by tapping the PSbutton, and get that menu when you hold it for 2 seconds.

You guys are gonna LOVE the PSN banner this week. Chubs out did himself again. :lol
Technically, remote-play doesn't really have any memory overhead (render buffers in remoteplay only needing 480x272 easily saves you those 8MB(or more) that the module supposedly demands).TTP said:You can also bring up the XMB while reproducing a movie (not disc based), a song, a picture slideshow or surfing the web all the while the Remote Play is in progress.
That's so odd indeed.
That's exactly what it does, as well as being able to access some of the games remotely etc.mrklaw said:how good is the remote play? I don't have a PSP anymore after bricking my last one, but if in theory I could switch on my PS3, access the PSN store to start downloading demos + trailers etc, and stream to my PSP over the internet, it might be worth buying a slim+light
Oh come ON now... You're arguing the importance of engineering standards for version numbering and in the same breath labeling an update as "not major enough" by your own subjective user standards.Borghe said:The decimal represents a demarcation between version designations (major, minor, patch, etc). That doesn't change.
Oh stop it, you're turning me on. Remotely.the_id said:A picture of Consoul and the the Ball crunching-gay WWE SvsR guys doing it...

Dizzan said:I have a theory.
Home will be the best way to communicate/message/invite friends to games.
XMB in game won't happen.
Home will be the only option for serious online gaming.
Everyone will want/have to download Home.
Home will cost money.
Sony will be rich.
