I just hope Wiispeak works out nicely though. Its still going to seem wierd talking aloud without wearing a headset.

Nice. It's not enough for us to waggle and flail our arms about, but now we'll be talking/arguing to ourselves too. (that's how it'll look through my livingroom window)

Hm... it said the Conduit Livewire segment started 22 minutes ago... yet I just saw a glimpse of Crysis? Are they behind schedule, or did I miss it?

EDIT: apparently, I can't read the first post on the top of this page. I guess they're behind... by a lot.

Sweet, so it seems you can map grenade throws with the nunchuck.

Definitely a plus since grenade throwing with the wiimote tends to mess up my aim in MOHH2.

Wow @ the gameplay videos on IGN. The graphics are truly MP3 quality on the technical end, and from the looks of things control-wise as well (lacking in the art dept. as other have said tho)

Given the state of Wii's online system, you should take that 16 person multiplayer and like it. It WON'T get any better than that.

And :lol at the IGN ban.

Nom nom nom, and all that. The videos look very nice.
16 player online matches? Awesome.
Art is still less than satisfactory tho. There's a worm in every apple methinks.

This looks really awesome. o_O The dead zone switch mid battle is great. The guns look fun to use. The scar reminds me of the battle rifle from Halo, and that is a great thing.

It's looking better and better to the point where it looks mostly decent now. They still have a ways to go though(that alien grunt moved all weird) and probably should just focus on their strengths(guns, camera movement, sound/graphic effects) as things like the level design look like they aren't going to improve much beyond the way things look now.

Batteries the CRISIS!
The pics of pages from what will probably be the game's manual (over on K_ombo's site) give me such an awesome, old-school feel. I just want to turn this game into oil and rub it all over my body.

Looks like this game has come along in leaps and bounds. I'm getting a real second-half-of-perfect-dark vibe from it. Granted I would have preferred a first-half-of-perfect-dark but its all good. I just wonder about the variety of environments. If it's set around Washington and the obligatory alien mothership it might get a bit repetitive.

I'm very happy with how this game is turning out. Normally I wouldn't be so high on an FPS but they achieved such scale and detail in the environments that it's hard to turn away. I just hope it can come close to the engrossing gameplay of Corruption, which is still my favorite game on the system.

That audio interview was awesome. I like when the interviewer kept saying how it looked like a 360 game. This game is going to be so awesome!

Audio interview is great. These guys deserve our dollars, not only for taking a chance on the Wii, but for self-funding a serious game in order to get out of the to-order shovel-ware cycle and elevate their standing in the industry.

It's great how they're pushing the graphics, but what's really worthwhile is what they're doing with the motion and IR that makes a game like this worth doing on the Wii.

Let's hope not. If it's THAT boring, I'm not touching it with a ten-foot pole. I hope the game is intense, easy to pick up and easy to get into, very little storyline to get in the way, action-packed, non-linear, and just a blast to play.

I don't need Metroid Prime's so-called "engrossing gameplay" to fuck things up.

Im not sure if Ive ever seen a standard fps that was non-linear.

EDIT: This audio interview is so nice. First time Ive ever heard a developer talk about their own game and actually excite me.

Great Job guys, I cant say it enough. Keep it up.

I'm definitely sold on the game. I don't think i've read or heard any strong negative opinions, and the developers attitude to the Wii is second to none.

It's not about supporting the game just because it's a decent 3rd party title. The game just seems to be definitely worth buying.

This - I just want a pretty good FPS on the Wii with decent multiplayer - if this title blows away past that, I'll be sure to tell any wii owner I know about it. :)

While they've seemed to have nailed the controls, I just hope the level design and AI are just as well done. Those are my big concerns about the Conduit. The graphics seem fine and can easily be touched up more before release.
