Holy shit, i thought it was a nipple and an areola or something, i figured it was akin to Batman having nipples on his suit.

I need to see some post images before i over-hate, but for now im not digging the suit.

Have you guys not seen the Nanosuits or what.....this suit looks nothing like the Crysis suits....the crysis suits look like techno-organic muscle.....the only thing the RoboCop and Nanosuits have in common is their color god damn it.

Suit looks fine. They need to get some official shots out to stop the hate fest. Director has only done great films so far so I have hope.

Looks fine to me, don't know what all the hubub is about. It seems like the original photo was a less bulky stunt suit maybe because it was way closer to the body. This looks a little more machine like and keep in mind we haven't seen what they are probably going to add in post. The helment is pretty amazing already though.

I hope they keep that mask on more often than not though. I hated when it came off in the original and I hate it now. And this looks worse because it looks retractable which means it can come off at any moment and I'll be forced to see the actor' boring, visorless face. At least in the original he had to work to get it off.
 
I'll wait to see how it looks on screen once they hit it up with all the CG. Iron Man suit looks awful in the guy in suit shots until they cg it all up. Assume they are going to be doing same here with alot of post enhancements to it.
 
I bet Robocop will have to sacrifice in some way that small part of human body he has left, his right hand.

It better sound very similar. The original gun sounded sexy and powerful as hell. I imagine there will be some sort of "pew pew" sound coming out of this one which will piss me the hell off.
 
I never had a problem with the suit to begin with and the gun seals the deal for me. I didn't know about the whole hand thing though...
 
Why don't they just release a proper picture of how the suit will look in the film?

They must know these photos have been all over the internet.
 
I would have to guess that they're going to CGI a robot hand or something.

Then again, if they were going to do that it'd probably have motion capture dots all over...

I hated it at first but the helmet really makes the suit. Especially the red accent across the visor. Feels more like Robocop now.

Nope. Most likely just a replica of Murphy's face:

"RoboCop implies that only Murphy's head and brain was used in the construction of RoboCop, as Morton states that "total body prosthesis" was an agreed-upon parameter. It is unclear in the first two films whether or not RoboCop's human face is merely a replica of Murphy's, as it contains a scar in the location where Boddicker shot him in the head, though he himself tells Murphy's wife (in RoboCop 2) that "they made this to honor him." After touching it, she says, "it's cold." In the script of the same film, it was initially planned that Cain and crew would remove Murphy's face during their attack on him, to reveal a Terminator-esque skull underneath."

I assume they're still tinkering with it or they simply aren't ready to show it. Letting the internet dictate such a thing would be sad. We shouldn't have such power.

That would've been fucking terrifying and that scene was already bad enough.

Yeah I remember reading that.

Shame they didn't go through with it, kinda hard to believe they left Robo's face unscathed at all when dropping him off at the police station.

This is not coming out until next August (in the Total Recall remake weekend, lol) which makes this a little early for them to be releasing any sort of promotional material. That said, I agree with you.

My guess is that it is going to be partially augmented with CG so they will need to let the SFX people do their thing before they release anything. I'm hoping we will see something soon but, honestly, my opinion of the soon has increased as more shots have leaked out.

Really though, I'm more curious to know how the suit will move. Are they going to go for the walking tank vibe from the first movie or are they going to go for something like the suits in the first G.I. Joe film. We shall see.
 
Have they confirmed if he will have an in leg holster for the gun? I'm hoping so, considering these spy shots don't show an external holster of any kind.
 
The pics are getting cooler and cooler at each time .... wich means that by the time of the movie's release this new Robocop will have the best design ever made !!!! xD

And these new pics makes me wonder about the hand ... now it kinda looks they really let the hand stay ... lets see how it goes on the official pics
