Its better than ASM Costume but its entirely unremarkable.

Say what you want about the other superhero movies but the nolan trilogy and the Iron man trilogy have had diverse and decent looking costumes.

The new pic is just standard spiderman.

The Nolan Batman costume is ass.

I like everything except for the raised webbing, the ASM costume looked much better on film and at night.

No, no one is ever the "only one".

I loved it too. The only other Spidey film that tops it is Spider-Man 2.

It's tied with Spidey 1, but I only lean towards Spider-Man 1 because of Dafoe, and J.K. Simmons. But almost everything else was better in ASM, especially the fight scenes.

That always bothered me for some reason, and together with the raised webbing it does look really similar to the Raimi suit. (Obvious reasons not withstanding.)

Damn that looks fucking PERFECT!! The ONLY thing I liked more about the ASM suit is that the spider's legs were actually part of the suit's webbing instead of the spider being on top of the webbing. But thank GOD they kept the bottom four legs super long. Looks SOO GOODDDD

I loved it. I think that they didn't need to redo the origin story but I understand why they did. I've found that a lot of people who didn't like the movie have: never saw it, they actually don't like Spider-Man and/or wanted to turn Spider-Man into a Christopher Nolan Batman movie. I think it's just a hair below Spider-Man 2 but well above 1.

I think the sequel is going to be fantastic. They picked good actors to play the villains. I hope they have JJ in the sequel. I want Peter working for The Daily Bugle.

Also: People need to stop talking about Carnage. That shit is terrible. It was terrible in the 90's but we were all 10 years old and thought he was cool. He isn't. He sucks.

Someone from SHH made this, and I totally agree:

The new suit should have looked something more like that. I don't like the fact that they just re-used the exact same suit material (hexagonal textured red stretchy cloth) when ASM had something new going for it.

I think they were short on time and had to start filming soon, so they didn't bother investing in looking into new suit material designs, which takes a lot of time and stress testing etc. Oh well, maybe for ASM3..
