With this Pikmin 3 and TW101, It's getting harder to resist WiiU.

Pikmin 3 should be played byEVERYONE and the new DLC with brand new maps coming out next months, buying this is a no brainer.

I loved it, and despite being a huge Nintendo fan I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to put Mario or Zelda above it. I thought it was a terrific game with very solid gameplay and an unforgettable story.

I really think I did myself a disservice playing it on Normal. A friend of mine who played it on Hard (or whatever the next difficulty was) watched me play and was shocked at how fast the enemies went down. It resulted in me breezing through it, and I never had those tense moments like in Bioshock 1/2 with the Big Daddies/Sisters. I really need to revisit it sometime, and I also want to check out the DLC. Despite all that, the game will still be in my top 5 for sure.

Considering LttP is my favorite game, I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being my number one for the year, but if Mario is as good as this review says it is, it's going to be a tough call.

I don't want to derail this too much longer, but I'd definitely think that Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and possibly Animal Crossing are in there too.

It's seriously been an incredible year, and having Mario and Zelda come out on the same day is the stuff of gaming dreams.

8-way movement will probably make controlling much easier because of how the levels are laid out. i didn't even notice in 3d land until someone had told me. it controlled fine.

Now that I have downloaded it sure go ahead. Man I wish I had more confidence in Nintendo's digital downloads. Sure I have downloaded some games but I hate its tied the console. The downside of not downloading is having to wait for the game to be delivered.
