People think it's a given but something tells me there is a legit shot he is really just done and this is not just some con game. The way Floyd has acted in the lead up to the Paq and Berto fights was strange. It really seems like he's over the whole process.
He said when he signed the 6-or-whatever-it-was fights deal with Showtime it'd be his last such deal, and even 2 years ago was saying he'd be done when it was. Last year he said this would be his last year.
He got the biggest payday he could have possibly gotten left to the tune of boos for a bad fight, and then decided to end his contract fighting a scrub with 10000x less people watching. If he goes against his own word, it's only because he wants better attendance for his last last fight, nothing more, and he can't hide the embarrassment of that if it happens.
