Either it'll be really good or it'll be "I don't know what I'm doing" bad.
If nobody steps up, I can do a simple one and keep it updated since I'll probably be playing this game forever.
Because it's not listed for US Amazon, it seems to only be in Canada Amazon and I can't buy from there.

I didn't watch it yet but my understanding from the comments is that it's exactly what you would expect from non-enthusiast players trying out a fighting game for the first time.
Definitely "I don't know what I'm doing". Basically everyone smashing R1 while out of stamina.
Kinda sucks that they made it all about the NFL players and not the game. Clueless gamer is at its best when it's just Conan and Aaron.

The beta client is on the Playstation Store, search For Honor Beta (Guess it's the same for Uplay/Xbox One)

I don't think so. If you're on PC, you'll need to have their Uplay client downloaded in order to pre-load the open beta. I imagine that you can download/pre-load the open beta on PS4/Xbox One as well.
Click the PC button on the page to launch Uplay and pre-load the game. The link uses the Uplay protocol, so you need to have it installed, otherwise it won't do anything. Alternatively, you can pre-load on Steam (23.08GB install/18.5GB download).
Edit: Oh, you're after the PS4 version ("beta client" threw me off, haha). Technically, each PSN store is separate, so you may need to wait until Sony uploads the beta to your store.
Just find the open beta banner in uplay client, click on it and the open beta will be added to your account from where you can preload it.
I searched for it on the playstation store and didn't find it. hmm. maybe I need to search harder.

edit: yeah, I search and it's nowhere to be found. Only the full game and its deluxe/gold versions show up.

That is correct. If you kept your download, you'll be able to download a patch to update it to the Open Beta.

On PS4 the patch was already downloaded, but PC I have no idea uPlay is dead.

Not bad. Looks like 50 ledge throws and 50 fire/spike throws will be the "grindy" ones. Once people know how to tech properly, throws of any kind will be a huge pain the ass to get. Do those early and often for that Plat if you want to avoid cheesing it later.
Works fine for me. I just logged in and accepted a few friend requests.

You don't need uplay to preload the game. Go to the Steam Store Page for the game and the link is a little ways down the page.

So excited to jump back in. The better you get at the combat the more fun the game is. Very rewarding title.
