For which 1 title will you instantly go next gen?

A new Red Dead Redemption
A new Bully
A new Grand Theft Auto

But i'll most likely buy a PS4 at launch anyway, so i'm going next gen instantly even without one of those games. ;)

As long as a new red dead game comes out I don't really care

Edit: Actually I'll be buying both systems anyway. I'm just hoping this Gen is not all about the military and fps

PS4: new Catherine/Golden Theater game, Persona 5, anything by From Software, Mass Effect 4

Xbox: Nothing. Mass Effect is multiplat now.

WiiU: Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, MonHun 3U

Killer Instinct 3, if its done right (not happening)
Gran Turismo 6
Proper next gen Final Fantasy

None. It used to be Halo, but Halo 4 is such a huge disappointment in so many ways. I won't be getting Halo 5 day one.

A 1080p60 freeroaming action-RPG with high res textures, online but optional connectivity, great controls, near endless hours of gameplay, night-day-cycles, a good weather-system, believable AI in all NPCs, a number of storylines to follow, diverse enemies ranging from common thieves to demons, undead hordes and dragons (and eventually undead demon dragons) and a "free to play however the hell I want to"-system, which means I can have my Barbarian, Wizard, Warlock, Necromancer, Thief, and Ranger in one game.

Anything less than that will be considered a dissapointment.

PS4: The Last Guardian, Uncharted 4, Killzone 4 any one of those, instantly.
720: .... Eh... Maybe a new Gears game.. Or something amazing by Rare.. Maybe Alan Wake 2. Hmn, 360 is the least attractive partner this time for me, but i'm sure they will come with something i want.
Wii-U: allready have it, but bought it for Pikmin 3. Would also have bought it for new Mario 3D game or Zelda HD.

Multiplats: best version wins the console: Rainbow Six Vegas and maybe even for Mass Effect 4(it better be one
Hell of an upgrade)

Ninja gaiden 2 was published by ms.. Look at sigma 2..

It's a slightly different situation there, and Nintendo is taking a fairly active role in the publishing of Bayonetta 2 than MS did for NG2. The game would not exist without Nintendo's involvement, and the same could not be said of NG2 and MS. Plus, Nintendo is historically stingy with allowing games they've published on other consoles.

Either way, I'm not saying its impossible. But saying it will "probably" be released on other platforms is a stretch.

PS4 - any MGS game but I'm getting one anyway
720 - nothing, the only real exclusives are Alan Wake, Halo and Gears, and while I love all three, they just don't carry the same weight as they used to.
Wii U - Smash Bros. or 3D Pokemon

Gran Turismo 6
If PS4 is equipped with GTX 680 class hardware: $799.99. Yes... day 1.
If PS4 launches with GTX 660 class hardware: $399.99. After a few months.

Durango... currently nothing on it interests me. And I do not support paying for online play. And same for the Wii U. Nothing interests me.

PS4: Wipeout (Liverpool is dead, lame)

720: A good Conker/Banjo game, or a new exclusive non shooter IP (so... pretty unlikely)

WiiU: Any main series Mario title (in other words, already purchased one).

Considering I already have a Wii U, I restrain from naming the most wanteds (i.e. Mario 3D, Yoshis Land Wii U and F-Zero WUX), and name games that'd make me buy a 720 in an instant:
- Banjo 3
- Conker 2
- Blast Corps 2

A trailer for a true sequel to Burnout, showcasing what next-gen graphics can do for a racer that's all about crashing.

Have you played the most wanted reboot? Criterion is done, the handling and gameplay (and course design, jesus christ) AND technical aspects (mmmm icros sssss uttter) were a disaster.

Idk what they did with their talent, maybe drowned it in the bathtub like an unwanted baby.

if a Baten Kaitos game was announced for WiiU, I'd not only buy the console the day the game releases but I've probably jump of joy in my room upon reading the announcement and I am NOT joking.

probably a metroid prime 4 but if it's not made by retro, then I wouldn't care much.

If the game is on PC, I'll more than likely go for that version so "next gen" doesn't exactly apply.

But I'll jump on the PS4/Orbis when Naughty God gets going... or if Sony releases The Last Guardian.
This is also assuming that Kojima games are being released on PC.

New 3D Mario is going to make Wii U hard to resist, lack of other games be damned. Galaxy 1 and 2 (especially 1) are god-tier. I have managed to avoid buying 3DS so far, despite 3D Land, though. I just have so much backlog between PC, Wii, PS2 and other systems that it's hard to justify yet another large purchase just to add more to that backlog.

New 3D Mario would make me get a WiiU no question. New Metal Gear Solid would make me strongly consider Sony or MS offerings, be it Ground Zeroes or something else.

I'll instantly go next gen regardless.

What would be a deciding factor as to which console I bought, assuming they both launched the same day?

If one of the consoles got exclusive Square games.
