My first gig was a Nirvana tribute band and they ROCKED. I must have been to hundreds of the things now. You folks need to get out more, there are a million bands right on your doorstep most likely.

There was a girl who was standing for the bus at the corner, I was staring at her 10 minutes. I even tried to take pictures by pressing the binoculars up to the lens of my camera. Kind of sucked though, by the time I got it going, the bus had came and there was some dude waiting.

I don't know that it's really a confession since I don't keep it much of a secret, but I daydream regularly about disappearing from where I'm at and starting up someplace else. New name, I don't know anyone, etc. Even if it's a case of "the grass is greener", the notion of having new things eating at me instead of the things I'm used to... it seems so appealing. Just get on a bus or a train, and adios. Maybe when I get debt-free, I'll do it for real.

That sounds awesome. I've yet to get a chance to go to a live show of any famous musicians. I went to see a handful of local punk bands play when I was in high school and was still angry and all that. I really should start looking to go to some real concerts soon. Feel like I'm missing out. I don't even know who I'd want to see as most of my favorite bands are disbanded. or ska.
I don't think he should be worried about the girl or think she's a prude, it's just something that she doesn't enjoy as much as others might. It's not as abnormal or uncommon as he think it is. Like, I would imagine there are straight men out there who don't get turned on from watching gay porn, lol.

If the original poster hadn't admitted he does this just for sexual voyeurism ("pretty girls") then he may be able to get away with it. But any reasonable judge (or any human being not completely ignorant) will realize HE'S RECORDING THEIR BOOBS AND BUTTS.

I can't find any studies on it but I think most people think that women are more likely to show interest in other women even if they are straight - whether this is actually the case or not, I have no idea.
If it's not true, then it seems to me that the idea is a result of a larger male influence in society leading to male ideals and fantasies being more established.
If it is true on the other hand, then I could think of a number of different explanations.
It could be bonding mechanism between females, or a method to get sexual satisfaction when one is not in the position to become pregnant (would fit the "college lesbian"-myth, at a young age you don't want to become pregnant but might still need sex)
Or it could, again, be a result of male fantasies and stereotypes having an effect on straight women's sexual preferences by making same-gender romances and sexual attraction "okay" or even more desirable than the straight male-on-male counterpart.

Dude i recognise how your quote can be used against people who take "upskirt" pictures of other people without their consent or knowledge, or install a webcam in the changing room, but not against staring at people waiting for the bus. I'm not american and that's why i asked how paparazzis made a living if that was so.
