as long as there are only 2 or 3 other must have games then yes i will.
But Square-Enix, Capcom, Konami and NIntendo may have must have titles at launch too.

(Yeah i Lol'd at Konami too!!)

Someone else must have scanned their issue of GI. Now we just need better shots of the article. :D

heh, just because they're presented as legit screenshots doesn't make it so. those are scans and if you don't edit your post you'll be banned.

still, the last frame in particular shows how impressive the lighting in this game is. if they could just add shadows and better models it'd be awesome.

proof of the pudding will be seeing it all in motion though.

I made the post when you still had his pics contained in the quoted portion :P
:lol :lol you meant the pics in my quote. I erase them when I reread the thread ans saw your post. that wouldbe dumb of me to let them visible :lol

my my, how can i know if these are scans, i dont even life in the us. how can i know where these screens are from.

sorry, guys

that 2nd picture looks interesting. Did he shoot the sofa to make that spray of material near the guy on the left?

these are not from a mag, these are from www.gamefront.de, why should i get banned for them.
someone has taken scanned pics from the magazine, cropped them, colour corrected them and displayed them as legit screenshots. also note the image isn't hosted on gamefront's server. mods might be flexible, but they might not. just a friendly warning. take the risk if you like.

i don't live in the US either, heh. but whatever man, no need to be sorry. we were just warning you of the policy admin has here.

Retarded if true. Sword duels without blood. :(

I found some high-res scans, which included a picture of some katana expert with 2 dead enemies near by...no blood at all anywhere.

The text also says that none of the features using revmote movement forward/back were in the demo they played. I just wonder how many people are going to end up accidently reloading during gameplay?

Another thing I don't quite understand. If twisting the revmote causes the gun to twist on screen, then how can twisting it also make you lean behind walls (another feature said to be included in the final build?)

if it plays with the 'chucks' then:

holding one of the z triggers on the left controller and twisting the rev remote could cause you to lean... just twisting the rev remote without holding the z triggers could simply twist the gun...

Well, you can twist the controller in 3 different axis, if the controllers uses 6 degrees of freedom.

You guys are completely fooling yourselves if you think a game like this won't feature blood.

It's gonna be bloody sunday when I get my mits on it.

two possibilities.

1. Context sensitive - When you're close to the edge of the wall the game will detect that and the action of twisting your arm will make you lean out rather than turn your virtual arm.

2. Player controlled - when you want to lean out you press a button on the controller and twist the revmote. don't press the button when you want to control as normal.

It wouldn't be the first FPS to remove blood. It wouldn't bother me tbh.

I played Timesplitters for about an hour before I realised there was no blood. Did it affect the game? Not even a little bit. It was a crap game whether there was blood or no blood:D

I want blood, I want gibs...
I wanna go all Ninja Scroll with that Katana...

Ninja Scroll, GOD DAMN, THAT NEEDS A REV GAME!!

but they've said the triggers are for jump and crouch

pitch and yaw are surely being used to aim the gun itself. Roll is apparently to twist the gun in your hand. Perhaps, as Scrow suggested, something like holding A and rolling the revmote will make you lean and without A will do da gangsta shootin'

I think stylistically, Timesplitters can get away with no blood much easier. It's not distracting there. It's very distracting in something like Medal of Honor, or a game where you're trying to slice someone's arm off with a katana.

yeah, this game needs bucket loads of blood, Kill Bill style. I'd love to see Ubisoft go nuts with spraying blood effects from severed limbs and heads like Tarantino did in his movie. I imagine Ubisoft would want to make the game somewhat family friendly to stay in Nintendo's good books, so to speak, so they could just offer an option to turn such effects off.

Or to toggle it between red and green. :P

since it's a blurry mess and you can't read anything, I'll remove it and won't ban you.

Also, it's just a preview for the upcoming magazine so there's really nothing to see.

Ive looked through the last pages of this thread but didint see the official screens. Are they posted already?

*edited*

Mod Note Again, scans... another mag... whatever, you know the dig.

The only official screens so far are in the hard copy of Game Informer. Ubisoft isn't distributing any others yet, it's still GI exclusive for now.

If by official you mean stolen and scanned from copyrighted material then yes. but they were quickly yanked.
